" Was that Kitty?" Yuna wondered silently, watching the auburn-haired girl dash away from the event. Turning to the person next to her, she asked, surprised, " Hyunjoo, when did your sister and Dae start dating?"

Hyunjoo, who was also watching the odd pair with interest, shrugged skeptically. " I'm not sure, but knowing my twin, she's definitely up to something." Deciding to approach Principal Lim, his mother, the two of them walked over to end their agreement.

" Eomma!" Hyunjoo called out, making his mother turn around. She smiled as she saw her son and Yuna approaching.

" This is my son Hyunjoo and his girlfriend, Yuna Park. They're the ones I've been telling you about—two of the best students at KISS." She said proudly, introducing them to the Millers' daughter.

" Annyeonghaseyo!" The American girl greeted brightly, though it was clear she couldn't help but glance at the guy in front of her. The couple returned the greeting politely, fully aware that the girl they were meeting was the Millers' daughter—an important investor for Hyunjoo's father's business empire.

" This is Madison, the one I've been telling you about." Principal Lim said warmly. " Oh, Yuna, you wouldn't mind letting Madison room with you, would you? I completely forgot to let you know, but all the girl dormitories are full this semester."

Caught off guard but unable to say no, Yuna forced a smile. " Of course not, Principal Lim. She can share a room with Eunji—I already have the other room to myself." Her polite tone masked her second thoughts, wondering if the principal's explanation was entirely truthful.

Meanwhile, not far from them, another conversation was brewing.

" Looks like someone had a hot boy summer." Mihee remarked in English, eyeing Dae in his sharp suit. She looped her arm through Eunice's, both watching the couple nearby.

Yuri ignored the comment and asked, " Have you seen Juliana? She hasn't texted anyone back." Eunice frowned. " No, she hasn't. I'm starting to get worried."

" I'll call her." Yuri said, pulling out her phone. She dialed the number saved as "Babe" but her face fell when the call wouldn't connect, and a message said the number was no longer in service.
