007: HIKE OF DRAMAS

The moment Yuna and Eunji saw Kitty standing in the hallway after speaking with Professor Finnerty, they knew something was off. Her usually neat hair was a tangled mess, dark circles under her eyes made her exhaustion painfully obvious, and she looked as if she had barely slept in days.

" Hey, Kitty, you look like..." Yuna trailed off, unsure how to put it delicately.

" Like sh*t." Eunji finished bluntly, earning a sharp look from Yuna.

" What?" Eunji asked innocently, blinking as if she had said nothing wrong.

Shaking her head, Yuna turned her attention back to Kitty. " Hey, are you okay? Is there a problem?"

Kitty let out a long sigh, rubbing her temples before answering. " Yeah, my dormmate doesn't let me sleep. She's always playing loud music, never cleans our room, and now the whole place smells weird. No matter how much I shower, the smell just won't go away."

Yuna and Eunji exchanged glances, immediately thinking of a certain notorious dormmate in the girls' dormitory.

" Oh no... Kitty, were you assigned to her?" Eunji gasped, her expression filled with shock and sympathy.

" Wait—you know her?" Kitty asked, her curiosity piqued.

Eunji nodded solemnly. " Yeah... I was her roommate last semester. And let me tell you, it did not end well."

Yuna chimed in, her tone laced with concern. " Eunji had to sleep in my dorm for weeks because of that. She left old pizza boxes everywhere, and there were insects—possibly even mice—crawling around. It was a nightmare."

Kitty groaned, burying her face in her hands. " Great. That explains a lot."

" Is that why you were talking to Professor Finnerty? Were you asking if he could do something about your situation?" Eunji inquired.

Kitty nodded. " Yeah, but nothing happened. He basically told me I still have to sleep and live there."

Eunji frowned in frustration before an idea popped into her head. " Well, why don't you sleep in Yuna's room? You would let her, right?" She turned to Yuna for confirmation, while Kitty looked at her with hopeful eyes.

Yuna hesitated, guilt flashing across her face. " Umm... actually, Eunice already asked if she could stay in my room, and I already said yes. I'm really sorry, Kitty."

Kitty forced a small smile, trying to brush off her disappointment. " It's okay, Yuna. I'll figure something else out."

Yuna and Eunji exchanged another glance before Eunji reached out, giving Kitty's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. " Well, just so you know, we're here for you, okay? Just hang in there."
