Lan Xichen made his way around the beautiful courtyard attached to his room as he thought about his life in past few days.
Although here there were so many faces he didn't want to see again and didn't want to meet. He felt peaceful being away from paperwork for once .
' It's such a lovely night. I wonder what uncle and Wangji are doing. Okay maybe only his uncle, he doesn't want to know what his married brother is doing at such an hour . '
" Er-ge ,You haven't slept yet?" a soft voice called him taking his attention from the moon he was gazing at .

His voice shows indication how unwilling he was for having this conversation but He can't let this opportunity of talking go . He knows even though Er-ge told him he was forgiven , Er-ge still doesn't trust him nor wants to talk to him.

"Well Thanks for that but I am fine by myself " Lan Xichen replied in fake polite tone .
