Y/n walked up to Jungwon, the rain pouring down on them both. She quickly placed the umbrella over his head, intending to shield him from the relentless downpour.
"Jungwon. You..." Y/n began, her voice laced with concern.
But before she could finish her sentence, Jungwon suddenly threw the umbrella away, catching Y/n off guard.
"Damn it!" he exclaimed, his frustration evident.
Y/n was taken aback by his actions. "Have you lost your mind?" she asked, her voice tinged with surprise.
Jungwon's agitation was palpable as he retorted, "Is it 1 p.m. now? Where are you from? I've been waiting for you, and I've never waited for anyone. I'm wet like a 'piglet' in a pond."
Y/n couldn't help but be amused by his choice of words. "Piglet? It's 'puppy'!" she corrected him. "Who asked you to wait, anyway? You're the one who set it up without asking me. There are shelters to hide from the rain, but you didn't go. Are you stupid?"
Jungwon's frustration grew, and he fired back, "You're stupid. I called, but you didn't pick up. What was I supposed to do?"
Y/n couldn't believe her ears. "You called me stupid?!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with playful annoyance. In response, she playfully punched Jungwon in the chest.
"What if you couldn't find me?" Jungwon continued, his voice softer now, as he expressed his concerns.
Y/n's eyes widened slightly, realizing the weight of his words. She reached down to grab the discarded umbrella from the ground and, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, playfully hit Jungwon with it.
"Who's stupid now?" she teased, a hint of laughter in her voice.
Jungwon looked at Y/n, his expression a mix of surprise and amusement. "What are you doing?" he asked, his tone laced with a combination of confusion and amusement.
Y/n grinned, her playfulness evident. "I'm just teaching you a lesson," she replied, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Y/n and Jungwon walked inside, leaving the rain behind them. As they entered a nearby café, Jungwon couldn't help but sneeze, the effects of standing in the rain catching up to him.
"How's standing in the rain, acting cool working for you?" Y/n teased, a hint of concern in her voice. "You'll get sick."
Jungwon brushed off her worries with a hint of stubbornness. "I won't," he insisted but was interrupted by another sneeze.
Y/n handed him a towel and a drink, her caring nature shining through. "Here, dry yourself. And here, my treat," she said, offering him the items.
Jungwon looked at the drink curiously. "What is it?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
Y/n smiled mischievously. "You haven't tried it?" she asked playfully.
Jungwon chuckled. "Normally, the kind my family drinks is Earl Grey or Darjeeling," he explained, implying that he was accustomed to more high-class teas.
Y/n feigned offense. "So high class. I'm taking it back then. If you don't want it, I'll drink it," she said, attempting to grab the bottle from him.
Jungwon quickly stopped her, realizing he shouldn't let the opportunity slip away. "No, no. I'll drink it," he said, taking a sip and looking at the bottle with a slightly perplexed expression. Y/n couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction as she squeezed out the water from her clothes.
Jungwon suddenly remembered the towel and asked, "Oh, what about your towel?"
Y/n shrugged, her carefree demeanor evident. "Nevermind. It's windy today. It'll dry soon."
