Chapter 6

Ace pov

A few days passed as you found yourself in your office. The girls were downstairs in the practice room while you took care of the logistics of things.

With a knock on the door, your attention was brought from the documents you had to the entrance.

"Mr. Abbott. Your 11 o'clock is here."

"Thank you Miyoung. Please don't allow any interruptions while I have this meeting."

With a nod, your assistant let the 2 men with their assistants at their side.

"Welcome to dream company. I am the CEO Ace Abbott."

"Nice to meet you. I am Young Insu and this is Su Jinsang. We are the 2 major creative directors at Mnet."

"Please take a seat. Ladies, let me pull up a few seats for you."

Jinsang seemed a bit annoyed as he raised his hand.

"They don't need seats. They are here to work."

Ignoring what he said, you pulled two seats near your table and pointed at them.

"Mr.Su. If they are here to work, then what are we doing? Playing?" Ladies please take a seat and let me know if you need anything."

The two assistants smiled as they both took a seat. Jinsang seemed more then annoyed at you but Insu began to speak before he could start to argue.

"Now. As you know, the whole country has been talking about Dreamcatcher. So we had an idea to do a documentary series with the dreamcatcher girls."

"Interesting. Now what would this documentary cover?"

"We would start with the journey of the 5 and minx. How that failure lead to Dreamcatcher and how their success came slowly. Then we would cover the issue around now and how it's going."

"First of all. Don't call minx a Failure. It was just a difficult time to debut a girl group with the same concept as others. Next if we do this I want full transparency on what you will be asking the girls and be putting in the videos. No questions that make the girls uncomfortable. Are we clear?"

Jinsang seemed annoyed at all you just said. A new company ceo demanding so much from a big company. Before he could get a word out, Insu nodded his head and extended his hand.

"That can work. I look forward to our partnership. Let's talk over a few more details."

A couple hours flew by as you and Insu talked over the documentary. With the discussions over, you stood up and walked the people on your office to the front door. Shaking everyone's hands, Jinsang was the last one to leave, ignoring your hand.

Walking away, you waited a few minutes and walked out to the elevator yourself. Going down to the basement, you arrived at the practice rooms and made your way in. The girls were in there dancing around with their choreographer.

"Ok then ladies. That's it for today. I'm going to head out and see you tomorrow."

Everyone noticed you and waved. As she walked to the door, the choreographer bowed towards you.

"Thank you Sooyoung. We will see you tomorrow. Ladies well done today. I have to talk to you about something."

As the girls were sitting on the floor, you quickly took off your suit jacket and placed it on a table. Despite wearing a nice three piece suit you decided to take a seat near the girls.

"I just had a long long meeting with Mnet. We talked about making you a documentary."

Jiu raised her hand then spoke.

"What will this documentary cover?"

"Your careers from minx till now. This is a great way to get your names cleared more in this interviews."

"Mnet is not the best company. They make people look like villains. What guarantee is there that they won't do the same?"

"We don't have one. I had words and they agreed to let me know the questions and such but I know there will be external forces to try to mess with us. Still I'd say let's play their game and get what we can out of it. Maybe we can be the winners."

The confident tone at which you said those words made the girls smile. With a nod they all agreed in that moment.

"Very well girls. The contracts will be here in a few days and we will look over them. For now we will continue to have your practice and wait for when the shooting starts. For now, who wants to go eat?"

Everyone raised their hand and began to laugh. Standing back up, everyone ran up the stairs instead of taking the elevator and got to the entrance. Walking out you all began to debate about to eat something until one girl stopped moving.

"I will meet you guys at the restaurant. I forgot to take care of something. Order me a cola Sua unnie."

"Ok yootony. Let's go eat some porky belly!"

As the girls began to walk away, you saw Yoohyeon walk towards a small park.

"Hey I will meet you guys there. I need check on something also."

"Ok oppa. Don't regret coming late and there is no food left."

With a small chuckle, you decided to walk in the direction of the park and entered. The park was a little empty yet you managed to find Yoohyeon standing near a small dog park. Getting closer you saw the owners weren't close by and the girl was spending time with them.

"All of you are so cute. I-It's weird but this is amazing."

"We like you. BARK BARK."

Each of the dogs were talking and Yoohyeon understood them. The girl seemed to have activated a power to talk to animals. As they all jumped around and talk to Yoohyeon, you proceeded to get closer until the dogs and Yoohyeon noticed you.

"I see you are all having a good time. Sorry to disturb."

Each of the dogs began to jump onto you and lick your hands.

"Hey don't forget about Yoohyeon. You all just said you like her."

"W-Wait. You understand them Ace?

"Yes. Yes I do. I'm sure your very curious about all this. Let's have a little chat."
