she looked at the eye bags under her eyes physically cringing and rubbing them, she rolled her eyes before walking out the bathroom
she was skipping her 4th hour so she was just walking around, and since she had her backpack on no one really asked where she was going
she saw Ethan this morning but she didn't say anything she just have him a tight lipped smiled and walked past him to her first hour
as she walked in the hall she saw David, Darrian, Ethan, Jay and Elijah , she didn't say anything she did the same as this morning and gave them a tight lipped smile as she walked past them
as she walked Ethan dapped the boys up and walked towards Ayla whom had her music blasting so he tapped her shoulder making her look at him
she pulled the wire to her headphones making the left one come out so she would hear him "hi?" she said looking at him "why ain't you talk to me this morning?" he asked her making her shrug
"mhm" she said shrugging Ethan just nodded he knew something was off but didn't wanna push her so he stopped that conversation now
"where you goin?" he asked looking at her as she just looked ahead of her "no where" she said more or like a question "tryna chill after school?" he asked
"uh nah i got some things to do after school tomorrow though?" Ayla asked him, which made him twist his face up "you to busy for me now?" Ethan asked Ayla "no i'm just busy" she said rolling her eyes
"igh i'll see you tomorrow then" Ethan said still walking with her "ok" she said putting her other headphone in which was playing

Ethan kind of was getting irritated with Ayla and her silence, he knew she was struggling , you could literally see it.
the eye bags, her skipping, her outfits, her energy / vibe, the way she held herself etc etc
Ethan didn't know what to do, he's never been into a girl with a mental health issue he's been with girls that were a little to into themselves so this was something he didn't know how to deal with
does he tell her dad? Ty? his mom? David? Darrian? Melz? he just didn't know how to help and he wanted to, he wish she could see herself through his eyes
because in his eyes for her to even acknowledge Ethan was something to be geeked over, and many people were, there were guys and girls that stalked her social media from school dreaming that they would become something
while Ethan actually got a follow back, has been to her house, to kiss her, to see her in that way and for those there were people all over school freshman to seniors who had secret animosity against Ethan and that were upset that Ayla would talk to someone like Ethan
whom is gang affiliated, passing maybe one class, smoked like it's his water, who bragged about girls (that he's stopped doing as soon as Ayla gave him her attention), who make drill music and someone who goes on drills
Ayla was just oblivious to those facts.
