Harlem, New York Saturday, 3:05pm 3RD PERSON POV The Reyes household📍
THE PAST 2 days Ayla and Ethan have been having sleepovers at Aylas house, during the facetime call she mentioned not liking to sleep alone and that's why Malo is always in her bed, so Ethan began to sleep over
He came home today to get more clothes and just extra stuff, he's been at his house for like an hour just chillin and tellin his mom everything "amor it's perfect" She said smiling at him
"you think so? you'll think she'll say yes?" Ethan asked his mom whom was staring at the basket full of this girl's favorite things with a small sign that says "will you be my girlfriend? ▪️yes ▪️yes x2"
"yes, you want me to go with you?" she asked as david entered the kitchen "nah that'll be awkward but i still need a ride..." He said scratching the back of his neck
"who you askin out?" David asked looking in the basket "take a wild guess" Ethan said with a straight face "damn my bad i thought you was gon ask through text not gon lie anyways ma i'm goin out wit ddot i'll be back later" he said kissing her cheek "be safe i love you" she yelled out to david
Ethan sent Ayla a text saying he was on his way and she responded "okay no one's home so knock and i'll come answer", Ethan thanked god no one was going to be home
as he got in the front seat of his moms car, she snuck in a picture of him with the basket for her facebook of course, while Ethan was making sure everything was there

"if she says yes she should come over for dinner, text me if she says yes and if she says no" she said before starting to laugh "aint shit funny about that ma" Ethan said mugging his mom
"sorry" she said still laughing , Ethan rolled his eyes before texting the 3 demon group chat about it
while Ayla was cleaning her room up since she just got changed and ready for Ethan to stay the night again
she realized that Ethan will be here soon since she knows the time difference from each others homes, she was nervous, though Ethan has been here for 2 or 3 days straight just in her room
and somehow without her dad or anyone in the house noticing he was here, it's not like they were doing anything like that anyways, Ayla couldn't do that while her family was in the house
but anyho she was nervous to see him again and to have to make conversation, the thought of Ethan and even talking to him made her slightly blush with a big ass smile
Ethan was bouncing his leg like crazy cause if this girl says no he would have to kill himself, cause not only has he been obsessed with her for years he's finally asking her out which scares the shit outta him
Ethan smiled at the thought of her saying yes, while his mother was trying to get his attention "we here hellloooo" she said with her hand waving in his face
Ayla was freaking the fuck out by her front door "music. music will make it less awkward.... hopefully" she said to herself as she connected her tablet to her Alexa and played her liked songs with

playing first, Ethan awkwardly and slowly walked up to her apartment door before knocking, which caught Ayla off guard since she was so close to the front door
she quietly made her way to bedroom door before loudly walking to the front door so he wouldn't know she was waiting for him, Ethan was praying and wishing that she would just open the door faster
she opened the door before making eye contact with Ethan, she smiled at him before looking down to see the basket "what's this?" She asked smiling but moving outta the way so Ethan can walk in
"this is me asking you to my girlfriend" Ethan said while placing the basket on her couch, Ayla stopped looking at the basket and looked at Ethan before smiling "aww of course i'll be your girlfriend" she said smiling, which made Ethan hug her which caught her off guard again
Ethan let out a breath he was holding in, "thank god cause if you said no i woulda had to kill myself" he said making Ayla giggle
(like i said, i hate the word too but it explains Ayla so well)
Ayla smiled before taking a picture of the basket and sending it to the 'family gc' which just contained her dad, Nicole and Ty she sent a message right after and said "call me Mrs. Reyes 🙄"
Ethan read the message from over her shoulder and laughed "Ayla Reyes?" he asked smiling at her with his hands wrapped around her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck
"Ayla Reyes" Ayla said before connecting their lips together
