Aemma was getting used to being in King's Landing, except for the fact that there were still marriage proposals coming to her, even from the Prince Aemond. Alicent and Otto Hightower have had conversations to the Tyrell woman and write letters to her mother. Her mother in return would write to her daughter Aemma to tell her about what is being said. Dyana would tell Aemma what the servants are saying about her.
"The Rose is so disrespectful to the king and queen. She should leave."
"This Tyrell is nothing like her mother. It is curious but also annoying."
Aemma had rolled her eyes and walked around the court still being the most respectful and kind lady that she would be. She noticed during this time that the Greens watched her carefully. They whispered to each other. She noticed that Aemond watched her the most. She did not understand why he did.
Aemond on the other hand was watching her carefully, watching her beauty. He wanted her, body and soul. He wanted the rose of the Tyrell family and was not going to stop until she was his. He noticed how every man was going after her like she was a prey. Even Jason Lannister, who already had a wife was going after the young woman. Aemond's hand turned into a fist as he watched her. Aemma looked around then her eyes met Aemond. Her eyes were saying to him, 'Save me please.' Aemond stood to go save the young lady until he saw that Aegon had already done so.
"Ah, Lady Aemma." Aegon smirked and took a sip of his drink. Aemma gave him a curtsied to him, "Your Grace." She straighten up. "Your court seems to be so lively today." He watched her, "Ah yes. My grandsire knows how the court should be run. I was told that you and my wife are becoming great friends." She nodded, "Yes, we are." Aegon gave a smile then held out his hand, "Why don't you do me the honor and dance with me?" Aemma bit her lip then nodded. She took his hand and a servant took his drink out of his hand.
His hands went to Aemma's waist as he pulled her close to dance. She let him lead and they started to dance. "How goes the hunt for a husband?" He joked. She looked at him, "Long and dangerous." He chuckled, "Dangerous?" He twirled her around. "How so?" Aemma let her hand touched his shoulders as she came back to him. "If I make the wrong choice, it could mean war." Aegon nodded at her comment.
"Correct. If you choose the wrong one, it could be war between us." His lips came to her ear, "And I would rather not have to fight you or feed you to the dragons." The comment made her uncomfortable, but she stood her ground.
"I don't think you would have the guts to put me in the fire." Aegon chuckled at her comment. She felt him pull her closer to him, her lips were close to his skin. Aegon wanted her, and wanted her now. She heard a cough and she pulled away to see his brother, Prince Aemond. "Brother." He growled. "Grandsire needs you." Aegon rolled his eyes and kissed her hand, "Excuse me, Rose." Aemond pushed him away from Aemma.
"Little Rose." He greeted and smiled at her. Aemma rolled her eyes, "Prince Aemond." He smirked a little and took her hand in his. "My Lady, you would roll your eyes at a prince?" Aemma watched carefully, "If that prince was interrupting, then yes I would. It seems like you are jealous." Aemond pulled her closer and continued to dance with her. "Well, I am jealous. All these men are trying so hard for your hand...but what good would a lord be over a prince?" She watched the prince carefully, "You seem to believe that I will just fall in line, Prince Aemond." The prince laughed and pulled her even closer. "I don't want you to fall in line. I would love a challenge." Aemma watched him carefully then felt his hand on her cheek. "ñuha rēko. aderī ābrazȳrys. rēko glaeso hūrus.(My rose. Soon wife. Rose of my life )" He spoke in High Valyrian, the tongue of the houses of Old Valyria. She did not know what he was saying, but his eye. His eye told her all she needed to know. It told her that he wanted her. The Kinslayer, the brother of the king on the iron throne, a second born son of the great House Targaryen.
His lips were close to hers, but luckily the song ended. She pulled away and bowed. Aemond seemed to compose himself, "My Lady, can I escort you to the gardens?" Aemma was about to say yes until Helaena came to her. "Brother, mother needs you." Aemond frowned then bowed to Aemma then walked away from the two women.
Aemma sighed in relief, "Thank you." Helaena smiled, "I'm glad I came to your aid. Aemond is a very intense man. He does not like people taking what he wants." Helaena giggled, "But he does change a woman almost monthly." Aemma's felt herself get upset by the comment, however she did not even know the man well enough to say that she would be sad without his company. The two girls went out the gardens for the rest of the night.

"My Lady! My Lady! The king has asked for you in the gardens." Dayna rushed into the bathroom as Aemma was relaxing in a hot bath. The lady stood up, in all her glory. Nothing that Dayna has not seen before so she looked at her. "Well? Let's get you dressed!" After the lady was dressed, she went to the gardens to the king, his sister and wife, and his brother Aemond. Aemond went to her. "Little Rose." He greeted and took her hand in his, bringing the hand up to his lips and kissed her knuckles. She gave a head bow to him, "Prince Aemond." Aemond, already obsessed with the Rose of Highgarden watched her carefully as of taking her in.
"Brother, do not hide the poor rose. Bring her to us!" Aegon interrupted them. Aemond rolled his eye as Aemma took her hand away from his and walked passed him. She greeted his siblings and sat down beside Helaena. Helaena watched at her brother was annoyed, but having his obsession grow. "The dragon will have it's rose, and unto them will be a child." She muttered. Aemma watched Aegon. "You called for me your grace?"
Aegon smirked, "There is word from your mother. She has given permission for you to marry into the House of Targaryen." Inside Aemma, she was screaming and cursing her mother and the gods for making her a woman.
"I see. Did you call to tell me which of your brothers I will marry?" Aemma took a sip of the tea that was placed for her. "Actually, my brother Aemond has already given his interest into marry you." Aegon watched her carefully. Aemond walked and sat beside his brother. "Don't worry, my lady. My brother will not treat you like some fat country lord, but we do expect an heir for my brother and blah blah blah." Aemond hit Aegon's chest, which made Aegon about to stand. Aemma looked at Aemond, who was already watching her for a response. "I would be honored to join your house, Prince Aemond." Aemma finally spoke. Aemond smirked then thought 'Not wanting to fall in line, huh?' She stood, "Now if you will excuse me, I will need to write to my mother that I accept the proposal." She bowed to them then walked out of the garden and back to her room. Slowly, her black slid down the door and she sobbed. Aemma did not want this, she didn't, but she knew that she had to.
But she knew that it did not matter which Targaryen she married.
