Severus Snape's POV
"Father..."

I turn around and it's my little girl. I didn't deserve this. Y/n hugs me. "We need to talk," she mumbles in my chest.

"Of course, my princess."

Once we were both in her room, "Please... tell me everything you know."

I was quiet for a few seconds as I look deep into her eyes. I nod and say, "The name of your parents is William Sayre and Amelia, maiden name, Rosier. As you obviously already know—you're a pure-blood, a descendant of Isolt Sayre."

Taking a brief pause, she gives me a half smile and nod to tell me to go on. "The rest of the story about Isolt's firstborn baby isn't in Nature Nobility, because its existence was kept a secret... Well until you were born. Your mother, although she was a pureblood, your paternal grandmother didn't like her due to her association with Muggles. Your parents and I were close friends when attending Hogwarts. And as soon as your parents heard that they were going to have you, they were ecstatic. But they went into hiding as your grandmother was extremely... traditional."

"Like Isolt's aunt...," Y/n mumbles. I was impressed. She must've did some reading.

I continue, "Yes, indeed. And before you were born, William told me everything about how the Sayre name bloodline kept going. After you were born, Amelia made me promise to keep you safe. No matter what happens to them. Eventually, your grandmother found out about your existence and came for you. I ran with you while your parents distracted her."

Cutting me off, "So, what happened to them? You know... My parents and... grandmother?"

"I'm sorry my princess... But... She used the Killing Curse on your parents... And for her, well it took a physical toll on your grandmother, so... she didn't make it either.."

Y/n comes to my side and pulls me in another tight hug. And without a second thought, I reciprocate.

Once she pulls away, "I am not your daughter by blood, but you raised me like your own and... I still see you as my father. And I'd love it if you were to give me away at my wedding."

As I close the door behind me, I see Draco walking down the corridor. I call out to him, and he stops in his tracks and turns to face me.

Pulling him into an empty room, "We need to talk."

"Draco, I've seen the way you stare at my Y/n. And. I know that look all too well. I know this is a lot to ask for, but promise me that you'll always be there for her—keeping her safe. Especially when I'm no longer here."

Without any hesitation, Draco replies, "Of course, Professor. With my life."

I give him a grateful nod as we both exit and go our separate ways.

Y/N's POV
As we're done discussing Draco and I's wedding arrangements, "It's settled. November 2nd will be the day of the ceremony. It'll give Y/n a day to rest after her 16th birthday celebration as well as time to get sober enough for the big day" Lucuis says with an obnoxious smile.
