Draco's POV
The boys and I are now making our way onto The Hogwarts Express. Before leaving the Manor, I stopped by Y/n's room, so I could help with her luggage, but according to Mother, her and Pansy left early in the morning.Did I do something to upset her last night?
Shaking my head, I shift my attention back to the boys when I hear my name being called.
"Aye Malfoy, I'm sorry that I was acting like a twat. I'll admit, yes, I did fancy Y/n — for Merlin's sake, I may still do, but she's yours. It's clear that it's you who she truly wants."
I blankly stare at Theo as I try to process everything that he just said. "Wait... Theo, did Y/n tell you she has feelings for me?"
He rubs the back of his neck and sighs before replying, "Yes. And if you don't want to lose her, you better make Y/n yours... like soon, mate."
He leans across the table, "Look, I know you two have gotten close and you learned a lot about Y/n/n this past two months. Bloody hell, we all have, but there's still much you don't know about her. And I understand you have your share of demons, but you can't be pushing her away and then coming back to her whenever you like."
"And, more words of advice: Yes, we all want to protect the girls. But they value honesty and transparency, especially Y/n. It's easier said than done, but if you really want things to work out with Y/n, you have to get better at opening up to her," says Blaise
"Especially cause she's good at reading people and situations. I don't know how but that girl finds out things — intentionally and unintentionally," says Vince.
I look out the window and with a long sigh, "I thought by not telling her about my tasks that I was keeping her safe... I don't want Y/n to get mixed up in any of this messy bullsh*t."
"Like what Blaise said, we all want to protect Y/n and Pansy. But unfortunately, if you think about it. They're already wrapped up in this, mate. It's best to be real with them than keeping them in the dark," Greg comments.
After a brief moment of silence amongst the group, I get up from my seat. "You're right... I'm going to talk to Y/n right now."
Before leaving, Theo stops me. "Bro... I just want to say, if Y/n had to have anybody, I'm glad that it's you. Never in a million years did she thought that she is a pureblood and would be put in a situation like this. She always hated the concept of arranged marriages since she believes they were more about growing wealth and status than the true bond between partners. So seriously Malfoy, remember a relationship can only work if both individuals communicate and work at understanding each other."
I don't know how all of my boys got so wise on the matter, but I'm thankful for them. I give Theo a big pat on the shoulder and nod, "Thanks, mate."
Y/N's POV
As I'm walking back to my seat, I feel a hand cover my mouth and another around my waist as I'm pulled into an empty compartment. I squirm until, "Shh, it's just me, love."
