"Can y'all sit down im tired of repeating myself I will call parents." Valentine spoke.
"I will call parents head ass." A girly voice cackled from the back of the classroom.
"Valley since you class clown of the week please explain what OCD stands for and what it means?" Valentine rebuttaled crossing her arms and staring at her least progressive student.
"I know it makes you a clean freak I don't know what it stands for." The little girl said shrugging. Valentine motioned for her to step outside while she got her phone prepared to call her parents.
"Everyone else work on chapter 18 with a partner and pick the mental illness you would like to do your project on." Valentine spoke writing instructions on the board before heading outside where Valley looked unbothered.
"I don't want to call your parents so we can do one of two things. You can explain to me why you think doing nothing all day makes you cool or you can explain it to your parents. Choose one." Valentine said unfazed by the kids fake gangster act.
"You can really just call my mom. I don't have to do your school work it doesn't even make sense we're in 5th grade learning about mental health and psychology." The little brat shrugged.
Valentine stared at the child in disbelief that she would rather get her parents called then do something as simple as identify mental states.
Nonetheless, Valentine pulled out her phone and called the little girls mother mother.
"She not gone answer so you might as well let me back in class." Valley said snickering like she knew her mother wouldn't answer.
But shockingly she did answer and the girls face went from cheerful glee to partial disbelief. Still the child kept calm and remained unbothered.
"Hello, this is Valley's teacher right I sent her daddy number ion got time for the nonesese right now he just got released talk to him." The woman answered then hung up immediately. Just like her mom said the number to her dad had been sent and she was calling it immediately.
There was a newfound fear in the child's eyes now. Her arms were swinging back and forth and one foot was tapping the ground nonstop. Valentine felt a slight joy knowing that she was calling the parent that don't play.
"Hello?" A deep voice answered. Valentine cleared her throat and began speaking to the man on the phone.
"Yes, Hello this is Miss Clove from Franklin Instution of Young Minds." Valentine started while looking at the now panicked child.
"Oh you a teacher?" The man questioned.
"Yes and I'm calling regarding your child Valley. She's been misbehaving a lot lately and I don't know the reason something I have noticed is she feels untouchable since her mother continuously declines my calls and ignores all my parent teacher meetings." Valentine continued. The little girl now rocked back and forth on her toes trying to maintain her composure but it was clear she was scared.
