Did we enjoy that long ahh chapter? Yea me too it was fun i really fw Carlos that's my kinda crazy fr.

Anyways I wanted to give sum details on certain characters to clear confusion.

Carlos is not a serial killer, well I mean he is, but not in the way yall think imagine him as king Von a gangbanger with hella bodies.

Carlos is called the shadow man in Nola because he's runs things while living in Haiti & Cuba. Essientally he is the mob boss. He runs things one hundred percent by himself he has no underdogs because he understands many would plot to overthrow him. He keeps the power to himself. He was originally a novelist before taking over his fathers "business in stocks" when his father was murdered the company had no choice but to leave the company to the disgraced psychotic son.

As you can see he enjoys sick and twisted mind games and torture his father saw it in him when he was young and distanced himself out of fear.

Carlos INDEED does love Aaleetia and some of you are lost on how that happened I gotchu lemme explain let's rewind a bit.

So on the plane a couple chapters back Carlos said he planned to kill both Aaleetia and Farrow, but he didn't kill Aaleetia because he saw her conversation with Janet and how she exuded power and confidence.

Carlos had been watching her for way longer after the death of his father he immediately began the hunt. He was in her house knife in hand ready to kill her from the shadows when he SAW her discover she was being cheated on.

NO. He didn't feel sympathy or empathy he was amused that she was crying and sad about her marriage when Farrow came home he watched them both thinking how he could set the house on fire and make it look like an accident. But, he saw how Aaleetia had mentally checked out on Farrow and he grew curious how does a saint leave a unhappy marriage?...they don't.

So boom, he continues watching her follows her to Janet's place she puts genuine fear into the pregnant woman holds her head up high in the face of a mistress and that turns him on in a sick way.

After she leaves he watches the mistress a little more and decides that it would hurt Farrow just as much if he killed the mistress then Aaleetia. So he plots waits then enters her home and tortures her slamming hammers in her face slicing her body open and injecting her body with all kinds of drugs and fluids. Then he slices her neck and says this is for Aaleetia.

This is when his sick obsession of her begins because just like his father he was taking blood in the name of her.

He hits the church boom now she doesn't shake she doesn't fear him openly he's intriguided obsessed and can't leave her alone he wants her dead but he can't bring himself to do it then he finally gives up the idea of killing her in the kitchen when he questions if she'd let him ya know have smexy time.

Yall prolly don't see the shift but, as crazy as he is he respects her marriage because she wants to honor her vows so he never does anything to her while she is married only until after when he marries her do they finally engaged in smexy time.

So yes he loves her it just started as a sick obsession morphed into love and passion.

Carlos race?? BLACK! this a black book come on now 😂 ain't nobody tell you this was an all black party.

Carlos has a Haitian mother, and Cuban father he was raised between the two countries. He speaks fluent Creole, French, and Spanish, as well as English he was a thick Cuban accent. Because, he mostly spent time in Cuba with his father. He has dark chocolate skin and hazel eyes curly hair that is often shaved into a fade the way his mother always preferred.

Aaleetia.

Some of yall are confused how she got over Valentine so quickly. She never really did and she wanted her moved all of her life she had another kid to raise and she slowly became less obsessed with her daughter. Sum are mad that she didn't fight harder and tell Carlos to get Valentine the simple thing is Carlos didn't give a real shit about Valentine.

I thought I made that a little evident in the episode of the car accident he says bring the kid if you want. He married her so he then assumed the caring role but he truly found her to be a thorn on a rose because in his obsession she was getting in the way of his love. With her gone it lowkey made things easier for him but he still provided her protection. He lost her when she escaped the system.

Valley was there Quincy made her leave luckilyyyy

And umm nobodies pregnant I be lying.
