Eiare's Baby Shower
"I know food hate to see you coming." Quincy said laughing at Becca who was on her fourth plate of baby shower food. She stuck a middle finger up at him and continued adding to her plate.
"Let me find out ur pregnant girl you eating more than me." Eiare said with a guy on her arm helping her through the crowd of friends and family gathered at the party.
He was chocolate but had an aura about him he seemed fun and loving especially towards Eiare. Valentine could only assume it was her boyfriend, the guy she had been talking about for weeks now.
"Hey girl you look so pretty. You make pregnancy look good for real." Valentine said hugging Eiare from the side to avoid her growing bump.
"Don't say that around that nigga his eyes get bright when you mention babies." Becca said coming back over to the group with plates.
"You not lying either." Quincy said laughing wrapping his arm around Valentines waist.
"there goes the pregnant lady." Gage's voice boomed through the venue coming towards everyone
It was an uncomfortable atmosphere because he came with some girl on his arm. All eyes was on those two. The girl was gorgeous nobody could deny that honestly the couple together looked really good.
"Oh heyy...I didn't know you were bringing a guest." Eiare said loyalty on full alert for her friend Becca.
"I'm sorry I meant to say something earlier it me and Dakota just been debating going public and stuff." Gage said with a big wide smile one he didn't seem to have for Becca the girl he's been with since she was a kid.
"I'm sorry for interrupting something so intimate." The Dakota girl said with a small nervous smile.
"No don't worry about it." Eiare said with a small nervous smile smile going back to her mother and father at a different table with her boyfriend.
"So how did you two meet?" Quincy asked stupidly. He always seemed to always be unconsciously unaware in situations like this. Valentine pinched him in the back and gave a death glare hoping he would cancel the conversation but he didn't get the hint.
"Uh we met last year when I went house hunting in Peru. Been together ever since." Gage said glancing at Becca for a second before his girlfriend smiled kissing his cheek.
"Last year but wasn'—" Valentine effectively shut Quincy up with a look and he attempted to shift topics.
"Um I have to take this." Becca said looking at her phone with a smile and walking off.
