7 years later...

I ended up graduating college with my social work degree and I love my job. I love helping others, especially the kids that I get to work with. Imani became a WNBA star for the Sparks and I love the life we have built together.

I'm even pregnant... with our second child. Imani and I are currently engaged, but we haven't had time to plan or even think about our wedding yet.

As the years went on, Willow and I got closer, yet Cam and Imani drifted. They still talk, but it's not the way that it used to be for them which makes me feel bad. Imani wanted Cam as the godfather for our son, but Cam couldn't even pick up the phone to call her back.

After Nya was off Imani's team back in college, Coach C was able to focus all his time into making her the star that she is today. I've never been more proud and I'm so grateful at the success Imani and I have made together.

Speaking of the devil, she just got home and jumped on top of me... like I'm not 8 months pregnant.

" Baby now you know better, " I laughed as she started rubbing and kissing my belly.

" Sorry lil Dev, you know Ian mean it, " Imani said to my stomach as I smiled. Our first son was named Marcus, and the one in my belly we decided would be named Devin.

" You really are a boy mom, " I smirked as she rolled her eyes.

" I can show you how good of a girl mom I would be if you just have one more-"

" I told you either you carry it or you're not getting a daughter, " I cut her off as she sighed.

" But Simoneeee, how I'mma play basketball while pregnant ? " She asked as I laughed.

" That's what paid maternity leave is for, " I replied as she shook her head.

" Ion wanna lose my touch ma, you'll end up carrying another just wait, " She smirked as I rolled my eyes.

" Whatever, can you check on Marcus tho ? " I asked as she nodded, gave me a kiss, and got up going into his room.

I smiled just so happy and blessed with the life that I live now. I thought I had lost all my hope back in highschool, but I'm glad I never gave up. I'm grateful love found me again, and made me the happiest version of myself that I've ever been.
