Chapter 34

Xin and the girls roamed around the whole campus and watched a lot of school events. Even if Xin was getting anxious about being around loads of people, the girls made sure that they helped her relax and calm down. Seraph wanted to take over Xin's body to help her relax, but she declined the offer because she wanted to make sure that the girls would not be disappointed with her. She wanted to enjoy the moment. She was the one who suggested it, so she had to be the one to deal with it.

They were all watching the girl's volleyball team. Xin was just sitting while Amara leaned her head on Xin's right shoulder. Amethyst leaned on her left shoulder, and Cherry sat in between her thighs. They were getting some weird looks because of their position. Xin looked like a womanizer. Heidi was just silently laughing at the sight of them. Just seeing Xin get uncomfortable because of the three women's insistence on flirting with her in public made her look cute. Xin was blushing too much, which is a rare sight. Veronica was trying her best to hold back her laughter when Heidi whispered something to her.

"Uhm...girls, it's getting hot. Do you not feel anything?" Xin asked the three who were clinging to her like leeches.

"No. Perhaps you were getting hot and bothered because of us?" Amara smirked.

Amethyst and Cherry chuckled. The three girls gave each other a knowing look, and it made Xin frown.

"It's not like that. It's literally getting hot because of the way you are all clinging to me. You're not giving some space to breathe properly." Xin said.

"So....what you're saying is...you don't like us being like this with you?" Amethyst moved away from Xin and crossed her arms.

"What? No!" Xin let out an exasperated sigh. She pulled Amethyst back to her. The three girls just snickered. What a conundrum this is.

"Ladies, I will buy some snacks. Anything y'all want to eat?"

The three asked for fruit juice while Xin just asked for her usual water.

"Our school will win again. Their opponents always lose this battle."  Cherry said while her eyes were glued to the volleyball players.

"The tallest one has strong arms." Xin pointed to the black-haired girl.

"That's Mason. She's such a beast when it comes to volleyball. She almost killed her ex-boyfriend when she caught him banging one of her teammates in the school storage room." Amara laughed. "A lot of students saw how she broke her ex-boyfriend's dick. His slut couldn't even recognize her face when Mason hit her face a lot."

"Damn. I should have seen that too." Cherry looked disappointed.

"I miss school. I'm a year older than you." Amethyst said.

The three looked at Amethyst. "Just a year older and you already have your own business?" Amara asked.

"My dad lent me some money, but I've already paid him in full. He wanted to just give me the money at first, but I didn't accept it. I told him that I'll pay him. I don't want to be a spoiled brat again. I'm getting older." Amethyst explained.

"Wow...how lucky you are...while here I am, always struggling with my grades." Cherry sighed.

"Because you're way too lazy when it comes to studying. We kept telling you to quit slacking off all the time." Amara pointed out.

"What made you that lazy?" Xin asked Cherry.

"I don't have any motivation. My parents kept insisting that I should have a college degree. All I wanted to do was just to work and have my own money." Cherry sighed again.

Xin leaned her chin on Cherry's head. "Then live with us. I'll tutor you all the time. Just prepare yourself though, because I'm a strict teacher."

Cherry happily hugged Xin. She cupped Xin's face with her hands and gave her a deep kiss. Few gasps were heard around them. Amara then pulled Xin's face towards her and kissed her too. Xin was stunned by what the girls just did. Amethyst delivered the final blow when she pulled the collar of Xin's shirt and kissed her too.

The people around them watched their show. Some people were curious, some were disgusted, and some were entertained. Even the game that they were watching had stopped because of their show.

"No PDA!" Veronica stomped her foot. She glared at Amara and Cherry. "I know that you two were the ones who initiated this again."

"Hey! Why is it always us? What about Amethyst?" Amara raised her eyebrow and pointed to Amethyst.

"Because she wouldn't do that unless you two encourage her," Veronica said in a stern voice. She groaned in frustration. "I've always expected things like this to happen. Let's go. Loads of eyes are glued to you all. It's getting uncomfortable here."

Heidi just giggled as she held her girlfriend's hand.

Amara and Cherry just rolled their eyes. Veronica has always been the biggest cockblocker when they wanted to have steamy moments with Xin.

They all got out and just walked around the school. Xin saw a figure floating around, but she was sure that she saw its wings. She stopped walking and started following the blurry figure. She then turned left towards the school cafeteria. The blurry figure stopped behind a girl and gave her a back hug. Xin used her demon eyes to see it clearly. Alas! It became clear.

"A guardian angel," Xin mumbled to herself while she was looking at the angel who was smiling at the girl that she was hugging. The girl can't see the angel. The girl was just busy chatting and laughing with her friends at the table.

The angel looked around upon sensing the dark presence inside the cafeteria. The angel shook her head and looked at Xin. Their eyes met, and the angel became serious. They were just standing as they held each other's stare.

Xin felt that something was wrong with the girl who was with the guardian angel. Xin walked slowly towards the three girls at the table. The angel was still floating while glaring at Xin.

"Where do you think you're going?" The angel asked Xin.

It didn't stop Xin from walking towards them. A guardian angel's job is to prevent bad things from happening to their humans. They just aren't allowed to have physical bodies in the human world though. They're also not allowed to reveal themselves to their humans.

"You will lose her soon," Xin whispered to the angel. The angel was stunned upon hearing what she said. "Excuse me," Xin said to the girl. They all looked at her.

The girl's eyes went wide when she saw Xin. Her two friends were just stunned upon seeing Xin.

Before Xin could speak, Amara called out to her

"Damn, Xin! You gave us a fright when you just went missing there." Amara explained.

"What's up with you? Why are you here?" Veronica said as she cupped Xin's face using her hands.

Xin didn't answer. She looked at the girl instead. "What's your name?" That was all she was able to say.

"W-Why are you asking for my name? Do I know you?" The girl was puzzled.

Xin's eyes became normal again when she closed them. She smelled death....and hell?

Xin looked straight into the girl's eyes. "You're about to die."
