Chapter 50

Xin's POV

I ask Oscar and the others to head back to the human world so that they could inform my family that I am well. I didn't want to make them worry more than they already have, especially, Veronica. I was left in hell so that I could perform my duties as the princess of the seven kingdoms. I will be crowned as the new queen in a month. The list has also been doing a lot of things to make advances on me. I kept on refusing her, which made her do more things just so she could have me in her bed. Sloth is matured, yet weird when it comes to teaching. She always ends up touching my thigh or breast. I was getting exhausted dealing with Sloth and Lust.

Wrath and Gluttony were teaching me how to fight, which I find to be unnecessary because I always win against them during practice matches. The table has turned and I became their fighting instructor instead. I was teaching them how to fight properly, but they're just so short-tempered which causes them to always lose.

Pride and Envy were too friendly towards me. They taught me a lot of things about heaven and hell, especially the rules.

"What would happen if a guardian angel would want to have a physical body in the human world?" I asked the two when we were inside the library. Small demons were flying around to keep things in order.

"If they want that to happen, they will have to become human. They will lose their angelic powers." Envy answered.

"What if after becoming human, they would want to be angels again?" I was really curious about it because of Cassandra and her guardian angel, Michaela.

The two shook their heads. "They can't be angels again because it's a one-time wish. They can't take it back once the wish is granted." Pride answered as she handed me a book about angels. "You can read about it there."

I grabbed it and started to scan the pages. It's written in a different language, I can't read it.

"I can read it for you," Seraph said, and my eyes turned to midnight shade. I could suddenly understand the language.

"Why are you asking about it?" Envy asked.

"There is someone I know who happens to have a guardian angel. Thank you for explaining things to me." I answered.

We all looked at Greed who was stomping her feet. Her face showed that she was fuming with rage. She stood right in front of me, our noses were just about 2 inches away from each other. "What did you do to Lust?"

I was quite confused. All I did was refuse to sleep with her. "Nothing. Why?"

"She is crying because of you!" She pointed her finger at me. "Apologise!"

"Shut up, Greed! She is our princess. You must respect her! You are a queen, yet your manners are lacking!" Pride glared at Greed. Greed didn't mind her at all.

Greed was looking at me furiously. I just gave her a blank expression. I sighed and gripped her shoulder to make her sit on the chair. Greed tried to resist, but I gave her a look of warning.

I crossed my arms and looked at her straight into the eyes. "It seems to me that you do love her, Greed. Just stay with her and make her happy if you don't want her crying because of others."

Greed's face became beet red. She was still glaring at me. "And what do you know about us?"

I shrugged. "All I know is that she is your other half. Sloth told me?"

"That fucking bitch!" Greed spat.

"Remember, you still owe me for forcing me into a very unpleasant situation. Lust is like you...but what she wants from me is purely physical...while you..." I smirked. "You want to marry me so that you could rule the seven kingdoms...which is something that will never happen."

Greed wanted to say something, but she couldn't find the right words to say.

Pride and Envy snickered at Greed's silence.

I sighed. "If you hate each other, why don't you just straight out reject each other? It's better than making things complicated, right?"

Greed's shoulders slumped. She looked down. I laughed internally.

"You don't love her, right?" I asked again. Greed couldn't answer me. "If you don't love her, then...I'll gladly take her."

"No!" Greed suddenly got up and met my gaze.

"No? Why?" I stared at her blankly. Just a bit more push.

Greed became nervous and avoided my gaze. "I...uh..."

I sat again and crossed my legs. "You're wasting my time here, Greed. If you don't care, and if you don't love her, then it is not your problem anymore if Lust is crying. Also, let me ask you. Are you sure that I am the reason why she is crying? Well...it doesn't matter anymore... I'll make her mine, anyway. I'll make sure to make her happy for eternity."

Greed stomped her feet on her way to the exit. "SHE IS MINE!!!" She yelled. Her voice echoed throughout the library. The small demons were startled, which caused them to pause everything that they were doing. Greed slammed the door.

I chuckled as I looked at the door. Pride and Envy looked rather amused.

"How were you able to trigger that woman? Even Sloth could not achieve such a feat." Envy giggled.

"Women are my cup of tea. I love them and I would love to help them with their underdeveloped love life. Seraph even makes me do that job...even when I feel like I am selling myself sometimes." I cringed when I remembered Seraph's dirty words.

"You willingly embraced the truth, Xin." Seraph gave me a sly grin.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "Wanna bet? I am betting that Greed would be making her move before my coronation as a queen."

Pride and Envy gave me a challenging smile. "We know Greed. It has been a thousand years, but she still didn't do anything. They were always fighting." Pride said. "So, I will bet that there will be no development between them."

"I'm with Xin." Envy said.

Pride laughed. "If I win, the two of you will be my personal servant for a month."

I smirked. "If we win, you will be the personal servant of Greed and Lust. You will be watching them making out every day."

Pride's smile vanished. Her expression was of bitterness. Envy just laughed at her reaction.

"And don't worry, I have a way to make Greed do that." I winked at the two.

After our long conversation, I got back in my room to rest. I can't count the days that I was in hell. I'm finally going back home after my coronation. I want to see Amethyst first to check if she wasn't really hurt that much after what Greed has done to her.

I closed my eyes to rest. I had a long day with those kids who call themselves "Queens of the seven kingdoms in hell."
