𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐄 could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she for the twenty sixth time in five minutes looked at the small watch on her wrist. "They should be here any minute now."

She exclaimed and looked at Enid, who seemed to almost crack from her nerves. "I can't wait!! My bestie is finally getting a roommate!!" The preppy shouted and got up from the bed to jump into the blonde's arms. "yeah, yeah. I wish I was at least as excited as you are." Lily said with a small smile forming on her lips. Enid started to walk around the room in pure nervousness which brought out a laugh from Loomes. "relax!! Why are you upset? I am the one having to move in with a complete stranger!" The preppy turned around and met the blondes gaze. "I KNOWW, But I am also getting a new friend!! I wonder if she'd agree on an interview for my blog? Could you please ask her, Lils?"

Lily giggled and patted on Enid's shoulder.
"I'll see what I can do." Enid grinned and went to sit down on the girl's bed again. "Gosh I'm so nervous!" Enid glanced at her friend for emotional support, but gave up after realising that she had zero chance of getting any.
"I still don't get why you're more upset than me though. But—" Lily was interrupted by the dorm door opening, and Enid shouting:
"HOWDY ROOMIE!!"

Weems gave her a confused look, and then shot Lily a smile. The girl just shrugged and let her gaze wander to the goth girl who just walked into the room.
"Wednesday, this is Enid Sinclair"
Weems said with a smile, and then she looked over at Loomes.
"And this is Lily Loomes."

Lily just stared at the black haired girl so called Wednesday. The raven girl's aura wasn't pretty heartwarming. And besides, she doesn't know her.
"Please excuse Wednesday, she's ... allergic to colour."

Said a woman behind the goth and gave Lily an excusing smile. The blonde nodded as an answer and turned around to face Enid.
"Oh wow, what happens to you?"

I didn't listen to the answer, and started to approach my bed to sit down. She wasn't interesting at all, this girl. And she doesn't seem to special. She could feel the raven's gaze in her back, but refused to turn around. Instead, she picked up her book and started to read the second last chapter. The book must be the best crime novel she've ever read, and she has to admit that she is a bit sad over the fact that she'll probably finish it this week.

"Lily Loomes!"
The principal snatched the book from her hands and placed it on her bedside table with a thud. The blonde rolled her eyes.
"What?"
She sighed and stood up. Weems stared right into her soul before growling:
"Lily will be your roommate this semester. Is that alright with you?"
Wednesday turned to look at Lily, and their eyes met. Loomes took some steps towards the black haired, short girl and smiled a bit.
"I suppose."

Weems smiled wide, and then she turned to Enid since she begged her to let the preppy show the new student around the school. Lily was just excited to get some alone time. She had never had so many people in her dorm at once, and felt excited to finally be left alone.
She watched Enid follow Wednesday like a dog, leaving the room. After a moment, the couple who seemed to be Wednesday's parents also left, leaving Weems and the girl alone.
"from now on, you WILL be nice to her, or else I'll replace her. You understand?"
Weems said with a strict voice, and waited for the short girls answer.
"Yeah, sure."
Was the only answer that left Lilys mouth. Weems closed the door after walking out of the room, and the blonde couldn't impede a smile. A part of her liked the new roommate of hers, even though she felt a weird anger around her. Lily liked challenges, and this was a true one.
