LILY KEPT GLANCING AT the goth as usual, this time kind of admiring her side profile and her pretty dimples decorating her cheeks. She was just about to open her mouth to invent a conversation with the girl, but was cut off by Miss Thornhill.

"I doubt Wednesday is impressed by your tricks, Mr. Thorpe"
The blonde's heart dropped a little, when she saw Wednesday's attention drawn to Xavier, using his powers to make his painted spider pull up from the paper, and start crawling to the raven alive. Thorpe smiled to himself, opening his mouth to speak directly to Addams.
"Admit it, you're a little impressed"

Lily regarded them both, nervous about what Wednesday's response would be, she fidgeted with her pencil, and looked away as the black haired girl next to her glanced at her direction.

Before anyone could prepare for an answer from the girl, a heavy thud was heard, and the spider was gone. The students laughed at Wednesday's cold action, and Loomes joined in. She did like Xavier a little, as a friend of course. Even though her past with him, she still quite admired him and his features. He was a great artist, and he spent hours in his art studio in the woods. His art was actually one of the things that made Lily fall in love with him from the start, and their relationship was actually a healty one. They could've came far if he just didn't ...

Lily glanced over at Bianca Barclay, who was sat across the room.

... cheat.

Suddenly, the witch felt a need to cry, and shot a hand up to her left eye to wipe her tear that was about to fall. She got ready to wipe more of them, but there wasn't any more. She carefully lifted her head, listening to Marilyn speaking to Wednesday again.

"Wednesday, we're thrilled to have you join us on our journey into the world of carnivorous plants"
Miss Thornhill smiled warmly at the goth, who didn't even bother to breathe back.

"Now, who can tell us the name of this beauty?"

Barclay quickly raised her hand, being the only one to do so, as usual. She's the best student in class. Not practically anymore, since Wednesday attended, but theoretically she is the best at Nevermore. Or?

Miss Thornhill nodded at Bianca, giving her permission to answer. She opened her mouth, and were about to answer, when a voice from Lily's right was heard.

"Dendrophylax lindenii."
Loomes widened her eyes, impressed by Wednesday's knowledge. Bianca seemed pissed off, but took her chance to keep her status in the class.

"Otherwise known as the ghost orchid."

"First discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1854."
Bianca gave the raven girl a irritated glance, before giving her attention to Miss Thornhill, who was in awe.

"Very good, Wednesday. You may have competition for the first chair, Bianca"

She spoke, earning some "ooh"s from the other students.
