Chapter 13 ➫ the letter

Time skip- the next day
(Y/n pov)

I finally was released from the hospital. Such a Relief. Naruto never came and visited me which was surprising honestly.

I arrived at my apartment and unlocked it. It felt so empty. I set my clothes down and put my katanas next to my bed.

I grabbed the picture of me and my family on my nightstand. I looked at it and felt a tear drop fall from my eye. Even though they didn't really love me, I loved them with all of my heart.

I still couldn't believe, my older brother killed our whole clan? For what reason?

I decided to visit my clan compound, where I used to live. My house was very empty. The blood stains that my family shedded was still there. I went upstairs to my room and sat on my bed. Playing with the cover gently and thinking of the best moments that ever occurred in this house.

After a while I decided to get up and move to my kitchen. Looking around I noticed my moms apron and her kitchen tools.

I noticed something under the fridge, it looked like a handle. But I couldn't reach it unless a moved the fridge, so I did.

It was like a hidden compartment, like where I found my swords.

I opened it and found a note.

"Dear y/n, if you find this please read it. There is a reason why your brother killed our clan. Not once has there been a woman born into our clan, except for you. The men in the hashori clan (in the past) have been known to over power and kill every hokage. Which was a major threat to the whole village. They have always hated us because of our Ancestors. We would like you to produce offspring, with another major clan name. For example, the father being from the uchiha or hyuga. So your children don't have to have our 'horrible' name but still have our blood. Y/n we Are watching you from above. Keep reaching your goals and restore the hashori clan.

Oh my. This was a lot for me to take in. So our clan is basically evil? Wait no no dad said they were only evil in the past. But the village still hates us? So he wants me to restore the clan but, they don't have our clan name?

I folded the note carefully and put it in my weapon pouch.I moved the fridge back so there was no evidence I was ever here and checked the rest of the house. But nothing.

--time skip---

Naruto invited me to get ramen with him so I went. I missed him honestly. He was as hyper as usaul and managed to chug down 4 ramen bowls, while I was Still on my first.

But for some reason with this outing with Naruto, sasuke kept creeping into my mind. It was like he was haunting me. I couldn't stand it, it was a horrible headache.

"Naruto I am very tired I have to go back home and rest just in case lady hokage wants me for a mission." I said while quickly paying for both of our meals.

"Hey y/n but-" he was cut off by me running away.

I felt really bad but it felt like my head was gonna explode, sasuke just kept popping up. It stopped when I got home luckily.

I kicked my shoes off and fell onto my bed. I didn't know what to think. Why? Why did sasuke leave? why did my brother do this?

I suddenly felt a familiar snakey chakra. I turned around to look at my deck and saw sasuke.

"Why did you go on a dinner date with Naruto?" He asked.

"Oh sasuke, it wasn't a dinner date it was just a meal he offered after I got out of the hospital." I replied kinda shakey.

"I see.. we'll I brought you something, actually a few things."

He handed me some dango I'm assuming he tried to make. He added cat ears and noses. He remembered I love cats.

"Awh sasuke thanks!" I exclaimed while hugging him.

I didn't notice but a blush crept up on his face.

"Your welcome, heres your other gift." He handed me a small box.

"Sasuke, please come back." I begged.

"I will when I know I need to y/n, everyone hates me right now you know that would be hard." He replied.

"But I have to go, cya soon y/n." He said while kissing my cheek.

I had to cover my face, I was so flustered.

I opened the box as soon as he walked towards the deck.

It was a bracelet with the uchiha symbol in the middle of it, surrounded by string. I was confused.

"Hey sasuke why did you give me this braclet, you know im not an uchiha im a hashori?"

"Your Not an uchiha Right now, but you will be soon." He replied while quickly disappearing.
