Chapter 22 ➫ rescue mission

(Y/n pov)

Last night with the ladies was fun. I loved catching up with them and enjoying our night. I'm gonna try to spend more time with them because soon, we are all gonna be adults, busy with our own lives.

Today I decided to go to a swords smith and get my katanas sharpened. They needed a good sharpen. And after that I was gonna train and refresh my skills.

As I was Walking through town I noticed rain clouds above the village. I actually loved practicing in the rain. It made me feel more swift and smooth with my movements.

I arrived at the swords smith building and put my katanas on the counter.

"Just sharpen them please." I asked.

"Ah some hashori family swords, how did you get your hands on this little girl?" The man asked me.

"Oh I'm in the hashori clan, and I'm not little I'm 17." I said while sweat dropping.

"Oh my, mam I'm terribly sorry, these swords will be ready in 3 hours." He said.

I nodded and exited the building.

I entered the building to pick up my swords. I ringed the bell at the counter and waited.

"Ah hashori! Here you are!" He gave me my swords.

They looked freshly made.

"Thank you, here's some yen." I handed him money.

Suddenly I heard someone calling my name.

"Y/n! Y/n!!!" "Y/n we need you!"

I quickly put my swords in their holsters and ran out.

"Hey y/n!! We need you for our rescue team!!" Sakura said while running up to me.

"Oh hey sakura, what for?" I asked.

"Hinatas sister has been kidnapped, and so had hinata! Cmon." She yelled.

"Shit.." I muttered.

"Meet us at the gate when ur ready, as quickly as possible!"

I nodded and quickly jumped to my house. They must want hinata and her sister for their eyes.

I grabbed my ninja pouch and put a few kunais, a shuriken and some food. I grabbed my cloak, because it was raining and cold.

I rushed to the gate as quickly as possible.

We were all traveling on birds, made by sai. You could tell Naruto was in a deep panic. I couldn't blame him tho. He talked about hinata how you would talk about a newborn baby.

"Hey wait Look down there! I think that's the place!" Naruto yelled.

Sai landed the birds and we checked out the hole. Naruto was sure this was it. So we all jumped down into it.

As soon as I jumped we landed in a mysterious cave. But it was moving, like an earthquake. Suddenly I heard a crack sound.

"SAKURA WATCH OUT!!" I yelled.

The ground under her was cracking.

"everyone jump up on a steady platform!" Naruto yelled.

I jumped onto a thin crystal like spike and kept my balance.

After a while of waiting the ground stopped shaking. We all jumped down and jumped to the next hole.

This hole was different, it was pitched dark and I felt many chakra presence.

"Does anyone have a flashlight?!" I yelled.

"Yeah, here I have an extra!" Sakura replied while throwing me a flashlight.

I turned it on and that signaled everyone else to turn theirs on.

As soon as the sound clicked of the button, creature like people started attacking us.

"Shit!!" I yelled while putting the flashlight in my hand and getting my swords out.

I focused all my chakra in the swords attacked.

While I was killing one, another came up to me and leaped on my back.

I swung my swords back making a perfect slices to his neck.

"Is that all of them?" Naruto questioned out loud.

"I think so." I replied while putting my swords back in their holsters.

We ran through the cave a little more than we finally found the place hinata was being held captive at.

"It looks like the moon." I said in amazement.

"Right, y/n your mission is to find hanabi. The rest of us will search for hinata." Naruto said.

I nodded in response.

"lets go!!" Naruto yelled and we all split up.

I ran into the castle and looked at the tower that's at the very top. That's were she has to be.

As I made my way into the castle I realized it was heavily guarded.

"Fire style! Fire ball justsu!" I yelled while creating a large fireball.

It wiped out half of them, if not more.

"Ha, I learned that from sasuke." I said while dusting my hands.

More started pouncing toward me put i ran, I wanted to avoid combat as best as I could.

When I ran up the states I placed a few paper bombs on the ground hoping they wouldn't see them.

I ran up faster so the explosion didn't damage me.

BOOM!

Yep that got them.

I finally got to the top and saw hanabi with a bandage around her eyes.

"Don't tell me.." I muttered out loud.

"Hanabi can you hear me?" I asked while shaking her.

"W-who is this?" She questioned.

"It's me y/n hashori from the leaf village. We came here to save you and your sister." I replied.

"I will guide you through the palace, by any chance do you know where your eyes are? I can get them for you?" I added.

"I think they are in a jar, in his laboratory." She replied.

I quickly ran over and helped her off the bed.

"Let's go." I said while putting one of her hands on the other side of my shoulder.

(Naruto pov)

We found hinata she was in a beautiful black dress and it looked like.. she was getting married to this guy?!

I jumped over to the scen not caring what the others said.

I tried to grab hinata but she Back fired and started attacking me.

We made eye contact every time. Ever punch ever dodge.

"Hinata this isn't you stop!" I yelled. (Naruto in his pick me era😭)

She stayed silent and never stopped attacking me.

"She wont stop til you're dead." The white man said.

I finally had a chance to grab her so I did and held her still.

"Hinata it's me." I said calmly.

Her eyes widened and she fell into me.

The white guy got pissed at this and started attacking. I hit him one good time and he passed out. But something large started creeping out of him.

"HINATA WATCH OUT!" I yelled.
