Chapter 20 ➫ dont kill him

(Sasuke pov)

After I told lady hokage she sent I search and rescue group out. It consisted of me, Naruto, hinata, Sakura and sai.

I was blinded with anger. How was this bastard alive?! We killed him during the ninja war.

Sai had birds ready for us at the gates. Me and Naruto shared one, Sakura and hinata shared one and sai road his own.

Naruto was trying to calm me down, but just the thought of it made me livid. What the hell was he even doing to her? Is he killing her?!

"Can we go any faster?!" I yelled.

"Sasuke we have to go at this pace, if we miss something she could die." Naruto replied.

"Tch."

(Y/n pov)

I woke up and felt a strong pair of arms wrapped around me. I looked behind me and saw obito, he was cuddled up behind me.

Why does this feel so wrong? Is it because I'm with sasuke? But I can't help it, I'm sure if I try to attack him I will die.

I tried to squeezing my way out of his grip but he only tightened it and moved closer to me.

He woke up at my sudden movements.

"You're not going yet." He whispered with his morning voice.

-time skip-

He finally woke up and let me free. I used the excuse "I have to use the bathroom." To get away from him for a moment.

As soon as I shut the door I fell down to the ground and started crying. I wanted to let it all loose.

Why did he take me as soon as I woke up from my coma? What makes him think I'm his soulmate?

After I while of questioning myself, I decided to get in the shower. I prayed every second obito didn't enter while I was in there. But I don't think he had any bad intentions with me, he just wanted loved.

I got out of the shower and dried myself off and quickly got dressed in my new clothes.

As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom obito was there at the door.

"Oh- hey obito." I said in a nervous tone.

"No need to be scared sweety." He said while grabbing my hand.

He dragged me into the kitchen and showed me where to sit. Waiting for me was a plate of breakfast. 3 pancakes with golden brown syrup slathered on top and a bowl of fruit on the side.

He sat down in-front of me and started eating. I took that as a signal for me to start eating too.

"Y/n, I'm going out today, since I can't trust you, I'm putting the chakra reducing chains on you." He said.

I hated those chains. They made me so sick and dizzy.

He finished his plate super fast and so did I. I was so hungry.

He grabbed my hand again and took me back to the bedroom, put the chains on my wrists and left.

(Sasuke pov)

I was looking around with my sharingan activated and Hinata was looking too. We both had the most useful eyes.

"U-um Naruto kun theres someone jumping in the trees down there." Hinata suddenly said.

"Where?!" I question fast.

She pointed down to where this person was jumping. I recognized that mask. It was obito uchiha himself.

I was about to jump down and fight him but Naruto stopped me.

"Sasuke stop if we go down and trail behind him, we could find y/n." He shouted.

I sighed and nodded my head. As soon as we lost sight of obito we followed his trail.

Our birds disappeared and we started traveling on foot.

After 30 minutes of traveling we started getting closer, we could tell by the sign of life and his chakra presence he left behind.

"Sasuke watch out!" Naruto suddenly yelled.

I looked above me and a shower of kunai's started falling from the trees above me. I used my sharingan and dodged them all.

"Hinata, you go ahead of us with Naruto so you can detect any traps." I said.

She nodded in reply.

They both jumped ahead.

"Trap to your left sai!" Naruto yelled.

It was a net with kunai's laced on the inside of it.

He created a loin drawling and the drawling took the damage.

We were almost there I could feel y/n's presence, but not her chakra.

Suddenly my sharingan detected a kunai behind us.

I stopped it with my hand and looked back. It was the man of the hour, Obito.

"Guys Obito is chasing us now, but we need to get to y/n first." I yelled.

I stayed back behind the group so if he attacked anyone it would be me.

"Sasuke! Stay away from my liber. you bastard!" He yelled behind me while performing fire ball jutsu.

I dodged this attack and pulled out my sword.

He through kunai's at me that were laced with poison. I hit them with my sword and turned back around.

Y/n is our priority right now. As we traveled faster with obito trailing behind us, we finally got to the house. I told Naruto to stay behind and distract obito while I get y/n.

I busted through the roof and looked everywhere. Y/n was chained up in a room, that I assume to be obitos.

She was still awake but the chakra reducing chains were taking a part on her.

I quickly slashed the chains with my sword and picked her up.

"Sasuke." She said weakly while hugging me.

"Please don't hurt obito he did nothing bad to me, he just wants love." She added.

"But he kidnapped you, y/n I'm gonna kill him!" I said.

"Please.. no he just wants a normal life like any of us." She begged.

I rolled my eyes and nodded. I dont think Naruto planned to kill him anyway.

I went outside and saw Naruto in his sage mode. He had obito in a head lock.

"Naruto dont kill him, just knock him out cold til we get to the village." I said.

He nodded and questioned "is y/n alright?"

I nodded in response.
