"If I may?" The SkyWing asked. Shark hesitated and then gave her a reluctant nod. "I'm part NightWing," she said. "I was born on the Brightest Night, so I have really strong visions and mindreading abilities. I can prove it to you: think of four numbers in any order."

"I don't have time for games!" He snarled, but reluctantly said, "I have the numbers."

"All right, now think of four words as well. Done?" After Shark nodded, the SkyWing fluttered her wings. "Your numbers were in this order: four, three, one, nine. These were your words: NightWing, beat, slightly, and predict."

Riptide frowned. "Wait... if you were born on the brightest night and you're a SkyWing, wouldn't that make you..." Glory was giving Riptide a hard glare, so he stopped talking.

Shark growled. "Very well. I'll take this princess to see her mother. Guards, please escort the others to their rooms."

"Oh Yayy!" Sunny exclaimed. "This is gonna be so much fun!"

"And you, Riptide, will be going back to your station," Shark said.

"Yes, Shark," Riptide said, before leaving the summer palace and diving back into the water. The rest of the day was pretty boring, until the next guard came to replace him.

"Hello, Riptide," said the next guard. "Did you hear what they found off the coast in the water?"

"No, what did they find?" Riptide asked.

"They found a dead SkyWing! It was crazy... oh, and Blister's coming soon. She wants to see the dragonets."

Riptide was slightly startled by the news, perhaps the SkyWing had been related to the SkyWing here. He went back to the palace, and was about to turn the corner when he heard someone talking.

"This is all wrong..." Then the voice proceeded to talk in some strange language or spell that he didn't know. "-ya6,c"scarlet$&c83!;notg2qn8-)foundj$u65(./?2'eue2qn8-)j$u65(./?-kestrelya6-notya6foundc"$&c83riptide!;g2qn8shift-)j$u65(./?2'euewebs,c"$loyalty&c83!;g2qn8-)j$u65tsunami(./-ya6viciousness,goerc"$&c83!;g2qn8-)j$u65(.added/?-yasunny6,c"blindness$&c83!;gadded8-)jnu65(asha./?2'eue."

Confused, Riptide went back to his room. He started getting ready for his next shift, protecting the other dragonets of Destiny (and the SkyWing, who technically was the only SkyWing to hatch in Brightest Night, and also was a SkyWing). He was just leaving as his father arrived home from his first shift. They had a brief chat before Riptide went off the the caves where the dragonets were living.

However, landing at the caves revealed a suspicious silence. It was raining, so maybe the dragonets had gone somewhere a bit dryer? He unlocked the door and stepped inside. To his horror, he saw General Shark, chained to the wall under the water, gills destroyed... and dead. He looked around for the dragonets, but they were nowhere to be seen.

Upon inspecting the chains, they appeared to have been melded back together... as if they had held someone bigger... like a MudWing? Had Shark ordered the MudWing to be chained, and then someone freed him before dooming Shark to this fate? Either way, Shark was dead. There was no turning back now, and he had to report this to Queen Coral.

As predicted, she didn't take the news that her brother and head of defense was dead, killed by the dragonets. Blister quickly had them found and brought to her, including Tsunami. "What did each of you have a role in this with?" Queen Coral asked.

"I was chained up," the MudWing, Clay, said.

"I was hiding when the whole thing happened, but I helped Starflight to free Clay!" Sunny said.

The NightWing said, "I used a hydrothermic reactor transformer to transmit the heat from Summy's Fire and my Fire to break  the covalent bonds in the at-"

"Excuse me," Queen Coral said. "Please speak in normal words."

"Sorry. I broke the chains and melted them back onto Shark's wrists."

"And I killed him," said the RainWimg, to Riptide's surprise. "He's been the cause of many dragons' deaths. He was intending to drown Clay. It's only fair."

Coral growled. "How dare you! This is my kingdom, not yours! Tsunami, did you have any part in this?"

"Well, I kind of led Shark to them? It would have been weird to kill my evil uncle, even though there's the evil part."

"Shark is not evil! A little... misguided and stubborn at times, but all brothers are like that, aren't they? I should know, you have about thirty of them. And you, SkyWing, do you have anything to do with this? Or the dead SkyWing we found off the shore in the ocean? If you're wondering, she had scorch marks on her talons."

Sunny brightened up for some reason. "Oh! Yay, you just have found K35tr31! That's so nice!"

Tsunami growled at Sunny. "Didn't you hear? They found her DEAD."

"Yes, but they still found her!"

"Silence!" Queen Coral roared. Everyone except this SkyWing, guards, take them to the dungeon!"

Hey everyone, it's me! Just letting you know, I might add in a character: a Sky-NightWing hybrid named Ash, owned by Moonwatcher4567. I'll except a little bit of criticism on what I'm doing, but I'm trying really hard, so please don't be too hurtful. Be compassionate for everyone, ahaha!
