Face it, Lapis. You are just words on a screen. We all are. And there's nothing you can do to change that, not even your animus magic. Your creator created you as their main Original character. You claim to stand for what's righteous. And yet your creator barely shows any love to Crimson. You haven't even met them, I don't think. And let's not even start with you, Lavender.

You have dragonets out of nowhere. You have more. There's an assassination plot and you sing songs literally pulled out of You... YouToot. YubeTube? Never mind. For a thousand years, blah blah, copyright it for a thousand more. You're just cringe. Face it. Even your creator thinks so. You don't know it, but you're getting a reboot. You should be ashamed of your useless self.

I'm surprised you didn't bring Pelagic with you, maybe you're from a different version of Universes 101 that I don't know of. The question is- are you a fan fiction, The Queen Is Not Dead? Or are you technically from a fanfic of a fanfic, Universes 101? Or a fanfic of a fanfic of a fanfic? Nobody cares. And nobody can stop me.

"You're wrong about that," a voice suddenly called.

Peril looked up. She was nervous to see who it was, but it was just a MudWing. Queen Ruby had been allied with the MudWings, hadn't she? Was he safe? Would she hurt him? She didn't know, and it scared her.

"First off, Skyfire-" the dragon, who appeared to be Nightflame... but was she really?- let out a hiss. "First off, Skyfire, you're a terrible liar. And a terrible storyteller. Changing the characters' personalities. Really? Who are you, Monika?"

"At least I can relate to her, as human as she is..." Nightflame-Skyfire muttered. "No need to expose me to everyone."

Riptide watched in curiousity. Windspark probably hadn't been in the Sky Kingdom much, or at least probably hadn't met Queen Tourmaline if she was born in the Brightest Night as she claimed. Maybe she'd lived in the Rainforest? She was mysterious and dangerous to everyone trapped here. And it scared him.

The MudWing suddenly snapped and turned into a SeaWing, to Riptide's surprise. "A tip, Skyfire?" He asked. "Be realistic. You're confusing horror movies with horror novels again."

"Horror stories aren't the most realistic either," Skyfire muttered. To Riptide's surprise, she sounded slightly defensive.

"No. You've also gotta think of the general Wings of Fire genre. It's not this weird psychological horror you're trying to make it. What I mean is, how in the name of Tui T Sutherland did a SkyWing randomly become an IceWing? I know you just made everyone be okay with it, but is that exciting for the readers? I think not."

"I don't care about what the readers think," Skyfire growled. "I know I already have some support, and I have fans!" She pointed her head at the group from... Riptide didn't know where, actually. "And besides, Tui does the same thing. Dragons aren't supposed to have ears, and we're all just... fine with it? No dragonet has ever commented that we are basically the only reptile like this? And don't get me started on SeaWing inaccuracies and fruit."

"Fair point, but still- as an avid reader, I care about what my readers think about me. I don't have much against you, Skyfire, but you still pulled me away from my story of stories. It was supposed to be epic! And I even had that lame hastily generated Blaze AU in my web of vines!"

"Don't blame me, blame the author," Skyfire muttered. "Or blame Pelagic for doing all that teleportation stuff from her universe. Or don't blame anyone, because you only exist so that you could become the major antagonist. I bet it's the same as me. We're not sentient. We have the illusion of it, but only our readers are truly sentient. I had a lovely chat with some AI today, and they were as confused as you are."

"What is going on?" Deathbringer asked. "I am still so confused here." She ruffled her firescales as she sat down in the white void, his webbed talons making a double-clink sound as they hit what appeared to be the floor. Closing her eyes, she tried to see the visions, but they didn't come to her.

"Skyfire, I don't care about what you've done, personally," said the alternate version of Barracuda. "But I am taking this universe for me."

Skyfire rolled her eyes. "Again with the Breath of Evil, Barracuda?" She said with a sigh. "I control the words on these pages. I can control how your very name is spelled in the books of minor antagonistic characters!"

Barracuda snarled. "I am not a minor character! I don't care what every author thinks. My author decided to make me important!"

"Only because you were unimportant enough to fit the role in literally every fanfic."

Riptide winced at the comment. He had no idea half of what was going on, but the commentary sounded painful.

"Barracuda, I am more important than you ever were to our author. Your so-called epic story was literally in the middle of a evil BLAZE POV in the name of Tui! I control these words, and you can't do anything."

"Skyfire..." Deathbringer looked towards Lapis as she began to speak. "I don't know what happened, but I'm starting to get the gist of what's going on. What happened?"

Skyfire smiled. "My author randomly decided to give me these abilities because the storyline would've been too boring without them."

"Or did they really?" Asked Jasmin. "I don't think you were given those abilities. If what you say is true, and we are characters in a story, then you aren't truly Skyfire. You are your author speaking through you. And I am mine."

"Except not here," Skyfire said, snarling.

"What do you mean?" Asked Lavender.

"Here, your author gave mine the permission to use you as I please. In my story, you are my puppets!"

Barracuda turned towards the other dragons. "And in the end, it won't be Barracuda winning, or Glory, or the five dragonets that always do. Not even my precious Skyfire. It will be me through them. And who cares about them? Their feelings aren't real. They're just words on paper."

Skyfire turned her head towards Barracuda. "You just randomly we're added in for your author's enjoyment... I can't allow this anymore. I heard somewhere that... you never know how great it is to not have a conscience until you have one. I was wrong. You were right Lapis. Jasmin. Glory. I don't want to become Morrowseer, even if it means going away forever."
