Riptide watched the SkyWing. "Oh, okay. Gosh... my name's Windspark. That dragon was one of Queen Tourmaline's most loyal guards, Kestrel. She has two dragonets, Peril and... I'm forgetting the other one's name. That's all I know, but I wasn't involved in Shark's heartless murder. Oh dear... if I were you, I'd take take an immediate trip to the Sky Kingdom to try to free your husband... it's too late."
Riptide had no idea what the SkyWing meant or why- how, actually. How she knew about Gill, and why she cared. From the look on her face, Wueen Coral didn't have the faintest idea what Windspark was talking about either. The SkyWing did warn Queen Coral, probably about some risk or something, but his thoughts were interrupted by several loud footsteps storming down the hall... many, and fast paced.
The SkyWing sighed as Tsunami stormed into the room. Riptide remembered that the SkyWing was also part NightWing. That must have been a vision. Queen Coral turned around in surprise. Tsunami had a fierce, determined look on her face. Three guards were trailing behind her, with worried looks in their faces. Upon seeing Tsunami's face, Moray's face instantly darkened next to Riptide.
"Don't you dare," she hissed.
"Guards! Why isn't she in prison?" Queen Coral growled.
"We couldn't keep her, it's tradition," the head guard said.
"What is?" Queen Coral asked.
"Queen Coral. Mother. What will happen to my friends?"
"Oh, them? They'll be executed. There's nothing you can do to stop it."
"There's one thing."
Queen Coral narrowed her eyes. "Oh really?"
Then to Riptide's surprise, Tsunami smiled. "Queen Coral of the SeaWings, I challenge you for the SeaWing throne."
"So be it. Right here."
The dragons around Riptide began backing away from the duo, and Riptide followed suit. Tsunami and Queen Coral slowly circled each other. Tsunami suddenly lunged at the queen, who knocked her tail into Tsunami's side. The narwhal horn on her tail narrowly missed Tsunami's neck. Tsunami suddenly took her necklaces and wrapped them around Coral's horns before suddenly pulling back.
"Don't want to die like Orca... ahaha." Tsunami and Coral continued fighting. "Will you let my friends go?" Tsunami asked.
"Never," Coral said fiercely. "Or the Talons of Peace, for that matter."
Tsunami suddenly took a metal container, opened it, and splashed the contents onto Queen Coral's face. "Apologies for the pain, but I didn't know if I'd win on my own, and Glory didn't seem too fond of dying." Queen Coral started screaming as the liquid burned into her face. She was dead within seconds.
"Nooo!" Moray screamed. "You- you don't get to be queen! You cheated by using someone else's weapon!"
"And how did Orca die?" Tsunami asked. "Either be quiet and loyal to me, or you can go join your father!"
Moray glared at Tsunami... Queen Tsunami, now, before turning around.
"Better... first order. Release my friends." Not wanting to fall to the wrath of this new queen, the guards hurried away to release the dragonets. "Also- Anemone, you can do what you want with your life, so long as it's not killing me. And let's exile Whirlpool. We all know the kind of dragon he is. I'm disbanding the council and sending out a search party... I'm going to kill the Talons myself."
"Thanks, Tsunami! We're free now!" Sunny exclaimed happily.
"Yes, Sunny, but Coral's dead. Not that it wasn't going to happen eventually, but still..." Clay paused.
"It only makes me appreciate life more! Isn't everything wonderful?"
Riptide stared at the small SandWing. It was strange how much she enjoyed the world. It was good to see the good side of things sometimes... but all the time? And believing nothing was truly bad? Something was off about the SandWing.
"Thanks, Glory for letting me use your venom. Anything I can offer in return?"the Queen asked.
"Well, you already gave me my freedom. I suppose it would only be fair if I visited the Rainforest with everyone... if you don't mind."
"Of course! Starflight can start making preparations right away."
Starflight hurried off to make one of his master plans. He truly was a science genius, and Riptide barely understood what was going on in his mind. After Tsunami dismissed him for the day, Riptide went back to his room, where his mother was just coming back from the kitchens.
"Hello, Riptide," she said. "How was your day, today?"
"The Sea Kingdom is a bloody mess today," he replied.
Hi everyone! Alright, maybe I went a little overboard here. Glory won't do what Tsunami did, she's different. Don't worry about her! Or anyone, except... you know who. I'm going to start destroying things soon enough though, so hold on tight! Three complete, two in progress! Also, did you notice in the last chapter where Shark's numbers came from? (I didn't give them to him from the title, I put them there in case I forgot. I guess my clue could be Peril. The numbers might spell something I needed at the time, a bit desperately... just kidding ahaha. I can make anything happen here.
