Mandy's POV

I was panicking inside when I finally opened the doors to the beach house. I was met with a relieved looking Elizabeth sitting on the living room alone. The guys were all right behind me, chattering as they entered. My heart was still beating fast from what Luke just told me, and what I realized because of it. I didn't even notice that Louis was not around till Harry pointed it out.

Elle said that he was up in his room, and soon Harry jogged up. The rest of the boys flopped over at the living room. I wanted to talk to Luke, so I tried to get closer to him so he can hear me. But as I was about to, he started to run upstairs screaming.

"BATHROOM BATHROOM BATHROOM BATHROOM!" I rolled my eyes at that. Just when you need the guy, you get betrayed by the bladder. Great. I groaned and flopped on the couch. I face-palmed myself at the bad timing. I didn't even feel it when someone sat beside me.

"So," I squeaked a little in surprise. I pulled my hand away from my face and looked at a chuckling Zayn.

"Geez, Zayn. You scared the shit out of me!" I immeditely shut myself up. I then sunk in my seat and slapped my face. "Ah, sheesh, I cursed! Again!" I threw my hands up. I saw Jake raise his brow at the corner.

"You curse in more languages than an average person, Mandy." I was about to retort, when he just held his finger out to sht me up. "And," He loked at me straight in the eyes. "Those words may be multilingual, but it's just offensive when translated. Just. Offensive." He gave me a knowing look, and went back to whatever it is Jake does. I scowled at his direction.

"I don't mind." My attention jerked back at my side. Zayn was laid back, his arms over the hand of the couch, and his legs crossed. "Cursing is fine in my book." He smiled briefly then grabbed the remote, turned on the TV and surfed the channels. I was dumbfounded. Well, uhh, okay? Elle just pulled me out of my trance.

"Then we're gonna be gooood~ friends, Zaynie-dear." She passed behind us, saying it in a singsong voice. Jake high-fived her for that.

"I believe we already are, Ellie." Zayn answered with a small grin on his face, eyes never leaving the screen. They are? I thought. I looked behind me at a pacing Elle. I have to dig for details one of these days.

We just sat there for minutes, realizing that it was only Zayn, Jake, Elle, and I in the room. I heard some rustling in the kitchen, and then later, the light-eyed couple emerged from the kitchen holding some popcorn. I was amused at the sight. They looked so cute together. I have to befriend this Megan girl fast, too, and ask her what's going on with her and Niall, because seriously, they look so cute right now. They stopped in their tracks, and looked at us expectantly.

"Well, are we watching a movie or not?" Niall raised his brow. Everyone started to talk about what we should all watch, but no one really knew where the movies were supposed to be, so it was really just a heated conversation about the best movie of the year. In the middle of the argument, Liam entered the room, and everyone was shut up by Daddy Direction. He seemed off and grumpy, but I was too distracted by my unobservant skills. I didn't even notice he wasn't there earlier.

"Well," I tried to remove the awkwardness between us. "I'll go get the others. I really don't want to know what's holding Luke in the bathroom for too long." That earned me some giggles, and everybody lightened up immediately. I grinned to myself and skipped all the way up the stairs.
