10. New Beginning

The Volturi leave. Everyone hugs. On the way back to the house, ORLA is walking with the Irish coven.

Orla: What to do, what to do? It feels like my whole existence has been gearing up to face those creeps. What to do now?

Siobhan: Live.

Orla: What a concept.

SIOBHAN looks at LIAM who stops. MAGGIE is looking at the floor. All other vampires overtake.

Siobhan: We need to say goodbye to Carlisle and Esme but first, it is time to say goodbye to you.

ORLA looks upset.

You will not be returning with us.

Orla: I'm sorry -

Siobhan: Don't be sorry. It fills me with sorrow. But...you have grown so much.

SIOBHAN affectionately strokes ORLA's face.

Out-grown us.

Orla: Siobhan -

Siobhan: You will always be an honorary member of our coven, Orla.

Liam: Any more than three made us a target anyhow.

ORLA nudges LIAM who smiles.

Siobhan: Our hope is that you will explore the world, and come back to visit.

ORLA is emotional, she hugs SIOBHAN fiercely.

Orla: Of course. I am indebted to you. I love all of you.

She pulls away to hold MAGGIE and LIAM.

I will come back, when the timing is right.

SIOBHAN and LIAM go to say goodbye to CARLISLE and ESME.

Maggie: You are not lying.

Orla: Hey, you know I could never lie to you. Literally.

MAGGIE smiles sadly.

I love you.

Maggie: I love you.

Orla: You know how I taught you how to use a phone? Message me what you're reading from time to time, and I'll do the same.

Maggie: Deal.

MAGGIE leaves to join SIOBHAN and LIAM. They wave goodbye, and leave. ORLA exhales. Slowly she meanders back through the forest on her own. BENJAMIN and TIA whoosh towards her. ORLA smiles.

Orla: When I visit you in Cairo, I want to see everything. Everything there is to see.

Benjamin: It is done.

BENJAMIN picks up a wind with his hands, it lifts ORLA's hair up and whips it around her. She giggles.

And we will visit your home...

Orla: We might need to leave it 100 years, make sure everyone I know is definitely dead. But hey, we've got time!

ORLA hugs them.

Miss you already.

Tia: Visit soon, then you will not miss us so much.

Orla: Couldn't keep me away, you gorgeous people.

They leave. The AMAZONIANs run by her and she bows as they tilt their heads to her. ORLA sees the NOMADS run in the opposite direction. ORLA sees the house, the DENALI's (including GARRETT) and the CULLEN's outside and immediately feels nervous. Like she'd outstayed her welcome. JASPER, who she hadn't met, fixed her with a gaze and suddenly she felt calm and content. She walks up.
