Today is Emily's birthday. How are we going to celebrate, when she's dead?

"Zachary," I mumbled, shaking him to wake him up.

He groaned, putting a blanket over his head.

I put my hands on my hips and lowered my head.

"Today is Emily's birthday, and I don't know what to do. Can you please wake up?" I trembled, as I inhaled to avoid crying.

I'm tired of crying.

He quickly got off the blanket and sat up straight. He stared at me and I started fidgeting with my bracelet. Zachary moves over to me and gives me a tight hug.

"How about we go talk about it? Let's go somewhere we only know." He suggested and he kissed my neck.

"Can we go somewhere else? Maybe somewhere quieter?" I responded, wincing at his soft kisses.

He nodded his head and he let go of me, walking inside the bathroom.

I followed him and grabbed my purple toothbrush. He grabbed his black one and put toothpaste on my toothbrush.

I put a little bit of water on my toothbrush and started to brush my teeth, staring at myself in the mirror. These damn bags are under my eyes.

Zee walks behind me and wraps his arm around my waist. He continues to brush his teeth with his other arm.

I spit in the sink and rinse it. "Zachary, do you know why they killed them?" I asked him, looking down.

He rinses his mouth and places his toothbrush back in the cupholder. He puts mouthwash in his mouth, then rinses his mouth one more time.

Zach walks over to me and places a gentle kiss on my cheek.

"No, but I'll figure it out eventually," he told me.

I rinse my mouth and wipe my mouth with a small towel. I turned around to face Zachary who was already staring at me.

I went on my tippy toes and gave him a kiss on the corner of his lip. He smiled at me and gave me a kiss back.

"Get out, I have to take a shower," I noted.

He walks out of the bathroom, closing the door.

I really want to officially be his girlfriend.

His father got him a new car,  so he can leave whenever he wants. He got the perfect kind for him, it's tinted, black, and has a rooftop.

I love this car because it's spacious and smells good. Also because of the rooftop.

We went in his car and he drove somewhere very far. I saw mountains, ponds, and forests. When we finally get there he grabs my hand and brings me to this lake.

It had waterfalls, and the water was clear, with ducks swimming in it.

He sat on the rocks and I did the same.

"I miss her so much Zachary." I covered my face with my hands as I exhaled sharply.

"How can I explain this?" Zachary questions himself.

"It's just like the ocean, it can be calm, and sometimes it can be overwhelming. But no matter what, all we can do is just swim through it." He sorrowfully says.

I removed my hands and I stared at him.

"Thanks, Zach," I muttered.

He put his arms over me and placed my head on his shoulder.
