Part Eleven

Jimmy had woken up before the sun (a rare occurrence that almost never happened). So needless to say he was early for the meeting in The Shadow Tower.

Next to come was The Shadow Queen herself accompanied as always by Ren.

Next was Tango who looked like he was about to pass out at any moment.

Then Grian who like Lizzie and Ren, was unbothered at waking up so early.

Then came Joel who wasn't even awake yet, and was just being dragged over here by one of his wolves.

And last but not least Bdubs stumbled over.

Jimmy had only been in The Shadow Tower once before when Grian had gotten lost on his way back, and sent everyone into a panic.

But this time was different, this time it wasn't about Grian accidentally wandering out of the forest.

This time there were real stakes.

"I'm glad you all could come here so early in the morning, I know for some of you this was a rather daunting task"

Lizzie threw a glance at Bdubs, Tango, and Joel who had only just woken up.

"As you all probably know, Scott and Cleo have been taken by the humans."

"Wouldn't they just kill them if that's the case?" Grian asked making Jimmy's blood freeze at the thought of it already being too late to save them.

"I don't believe so, I can still sense that they are alive, we will be able to save them, but not without a proper plan."

"But they have BigB on their team" Joel pointed out, "we won't be able to stand a chance if we don't know where the heck any of them are."

Lizzie smiled and looked over at Ren, "The Shadow Queen has thought of that, which is why we have these."

Ren took out a duffel bag from under the table and placed it on the desk.

"And this is for?" Tango asked.

"Inside this duffel bag is a powerful spell that will increase our powers to the maximum capability. That includes Scott and Cleo."

"So this means...?" Jimmy trailed off, "it means that if we release it into the city or town Cleo and Scott are being kept, then we will have an easy win."

"But what about BigB?" Bdubs asked, "won't his powers get put to the max to?"

Lizzie smiled before snapping her fingers.

Jimmy gasped as BigB appeared on the table. Bloody and unconscious, but still alive. "What the-" Jimmy questioned, "it's a hologram" Ren explained, "The Shadow Queen is showing us how he is looking currently."

"So I guess it's safe to say BigB is as good as dead" Grian commented as the hologram evaporated.

"That would be correct Grian, it seems that after we found out that BigB was a spy, they saw no more use for him."

"But he was still alive" Jimmy pointed out, "not for very long" Bdubs chimed in and Lizzie nodded.

"BigB won't be a threat to us anymore"

"I guess you have a point, sorry" Jimmy apologized, "it's quite alright Jimmy, you have a right to doubt every word I say. After all you and Bdubs have been though, it's no wonder why you'd be acting this way."

Jimmy nodded but kept his head directed downwards to avoid any eye contact.

Lizzie continued to present her plan with the others chiming in from time to time or throwing out suggestions.

Jimmy stayed silent though, the truth was that he was practically terrified of this whole thing failing.

After about an hour of discussing the plan Tango asked something Jimmy doubted even Lizzie was expecting.

"How will we find where Scott and Cleo are being kept?"

All eyes turned to him.

"That is the more risky part of my plan" Lizzie admitted.

"Well... what is it?" Grian asked

"Yeah, we should know how risky this will be since we're all going to be apart of this" Bdubs agreed.

"What they said" Jimmy mumbled

"I was going to tell you it" Lizzie said, "like you said Bdubs you're all going into this plan head on and deserve to hear all this plan has to offer, I was never planning of taking away that right from you, I am no conniving human after all."

Everyone nodded before looking back at The Shadow Queen expectantly.

"The risky part of this plan is..." Lizzie started

"That someone will have to pretend to get kidnapped while the rest of us follow them."
