Scott called in a swarm of wasps and hawks to attack the people. Thorny vines sprouted from the earth. This was the first time Scott had used his powers like this.

He saw Lizzie and the others all reeking havoc upon the land.

He could almost enjoy it, but he didn't.

He had morals, and was only killing the soldiers, all normal civilians could live. Scott saw a small child crying curled up in a ball.

She looked to be only three years old.

Scott had known humanity could be cruel, but this girl was only a child, she didn't deserve the trauma Scott and his friends were inflicting upon this town.

He had two options here, mercy kill the poor girl, or let her live with the trauma.

Maybe he should've killed the girl, maybe it would've been better for everyone, but Scott had his moral boundaries, and he wouldn't break them even if it might have been the right thing to do in a situation like that.

Scott scooped up the child and ran.

He ran all the way to the outskirts of the town, and gently placed the girl down by an old oak tree.

The girl clutched Scott's hand as he tried to leave.

"Don't go!" The girl wailed, "I have to go though" Scott said pityingly

"Don't go!"

"Why do you want me to not go?"

"Because mama told me to stay with friends!"

"I'm not your friend though"

"No! You are my friend!"

Scott sighed, "alright, I'll stay for a bit"

The girl curled up next to Scott, and Scott made sure to keep them out of sight.

Eventually when the girl was fast asleep Scott left her in a bed of flowers, with a Robin to look after her.

Scott ran back to the town to continue to reek havoc. Scott sent trees to go through buildings, and summoned venomous snakes to bite the soldiers.

Scott saw other creatures, teens who he didn't know start to kindle their powers and fight back.

For the first time in history no one ran, no one hid.

This was their stand.

This is where they would fight.

This town would fall and in doing so send a message to all the other kingdoms.

Suddenly a soldier in steel came running, but he wasn't running at Scott. No, he was running at someone completely different.

"JIMMY LOOK OUT!!!!!!!" Scott shouted and Jimmy turned, Martin and the other soldiers started to run, but Scott knew they wouldn't be able to make it to him in time.

But that didn't mean Scott wouldn't.

Using all of his energy to run, Scott zoomed on over and threw the guard away from Jimmy.

"Scott! Are you ok!?" Jimmy asked kneeling down to help hold Scott up as he collapsed to the floor in a fit of exhaustion.

"I'm... fine" Scott panted, just then he saw the soldier get up to take another swing at them, and Scott threw Jimmy out of the way, taking the full force of the blow.

The last thing Scott saw, was Jimmy.

The last thing Scott heard was Jimmy.

And Scott's last thought was Jimmy.

Before he faded into the cold black void.
