Kurt's POV~
So, Michale thinks he can just get away from me? He has the advantage, for now. But when I find him, I will end this. This "war" has been going on for too long, he will die by my hands.
Suddenly a dark cloud had appeared in front of me, I kneeled.
"Rise, my faithful soldier."
I stood up but kept my head down.
"Why do you not look me in my eyes? Why do you disrespect me so?"
I looked up immediately, "Forgive me, I mean no disrespect. I have failed you; Michael has disappeared again. I haven't been able to locate him. Please forgive me."
He put his hand on my shoulder, I stiffened up.
"My child do not fret. You haven't failed me, not yet. You've done great work; you may have lost him but don't let that get to you. He always gets sloppy; when he does, strike him down once and for all."
I kneeled once more, "I will not fail you again. I will kill them all in your name, Lord Hades."
"I told you, just Hades."
With that, the black smoke surrounded him again and he was gone. His power was overwhelming. That's why I prayed for his help in this war. Because once I end Michael, I will use the power chaos and destruction and end the human world.
Once I take over their world, I will become unstoppable. But before I get ahead of myself, I have to end this war soon. I won't let Michael take what's mine again.
Sarah's POV
These last few days have been pleasant and awkward. Chrys and I have completed our mating ritual, and I've never felt more complete. On the other hand, Raven hasn't even looked in my direction.
Every time we happen to be in the same area, she looks at me with utter disgust and hate. I feel so ashamed, and pitiful. She was the only friend I truly had, and I betrayed her.
I don't know why I didn't just let her kill me. I deserved it, but I wanted to live. I guess it's because of Chrys. I could never bring myself to hurt him, and dying would've killed him.
I want to really make him happy, and to do that I have to find a way to make things right with Raven. But how?
I left my room and went to look for Raven. Maybe if I try small talk, it'll break the ice. I looked everywhere in the house, but no luck. I decided to go outside, and there she was. She was in the middle of training.
I just watched in awe. She hardly broke a sweat; I could never reach her level of intensity or power. I started to walk towards her, but a hand grabbed my shoulder.
I turned around to see who grabbed me, it was Beau.
"Oh, it's you. What is it? I was about to-"
"Talk to Raven? I know, but now isn't the time."
"What do you mean?"
"She's not ready. If you approach her, she'll just give you the cold shoulder."
"And if I force it, I'll make it worse."
"Much worse. You can't force it, let it happen naturally."
"But what if it doesn't happen? What if she leaves before, I get the chance to fix it?"
"Then that's the way it's supposed to be. Sarah, you really hurt Raven. You were supposed to be her best friend. She really connected with you; she thought you shared an experience that only the two of you could understand fully."
