Anna trekked a few more and on reaching to a junction, she paused. The afternoon sun was shining brightly and the rays hit the ground. The oxfords estate. She saw the street address on a sidewall and looks at the scribbling on the little paper she was holding. Oxfords estate, opposite direction of boulevard apartments. It read. 'Opposite boulevard apartments. Where could it be.' She mutters. Her eyes was probing the almost empty broad roads. Anna had found the home address of Viviane from her mother's wallet. She'd taken the bus to the far destination and was finding it hard to locate the particular place. The roads were complicating. She asked for some directions from a red-haired passerby of her age who pointed west at the far end of the byroad.
..
Anna stood on a corner, with eyes set in a fixed glassy stare at the postern gate that saw through a residence. She knew she was looking at the right house. The manor was directly across the tidy apartment building. The estate held still and quiet, and the sunflowers and wallflowers enhanced the beauty of it. 'hmm, such a nice place you live in, Viviane. Then again, today should be your last.' she smirks and knew for a moment that it was going to be hard. Anna didn't forget the knife tucked away in her backpack.
Boldly she walked up to the gate and was peering into it to see whether anyone was around. She sighted a security guard who she was aware had seen her, he striding close with a look of inquiry.
“Who're you looking for?“ He threw the question at the moment he got to the gate.
“I'm here to see Mrs Santana.“ Anna answered most innocently.
“Do you have any business with her.“ He asked.
“I'm from the office.“
“I believe that office work should be handled at the office and not here.“ He found it hard to believe that she works at the company because he wasn't familiar with her face and she was no younger than 20? He reasons. Maybe she'd graduated early and began working immediately? The man was thinking.
Anna understanding what went through his mind utters, “I'm still studying business administration in college, but currently practicing in the stock company to earn my degree.“ By the look on the man face, she'd cleared his doubts. “I'm here with a message to Mrs Viviane Santana.“
“And what is the message that made you come all the way here?“ He crossed his arms.
“It's strictly for only Mrs Santana Viviane.“
“What information would they've given to a young girl. Why not Mr Noelle or Mr Robinson, the business partners.“ He looked at her as someone that only wanted to enter through the gates to explore the area without anything concerning business and whatsoever. To him, she wasn't mature to know anything concerning the company's business.
“Mrs Santana is home today because she's expecting me.“ Anna uttered with a sigh. “Do I look harmful to you?“
He still didn't grant her access into the gate. “Wait, I'll inform Mrs Viviane about you.“
“You don't have to stress yourself.“ She called out. “I've already phoned her minutes ago.“ She watched his masculine bearded face. “She should be waiting for me.“ He finally agreed to see her through the gate.
“Mr Santana must be a lucky man. I mean, he's got a very charming wife.“ Anna knew why she said that.
“He's traveled out.“ His face was straight.
'That's good.' The anticipated answer has been told. 'Should make my Job much easier.' She thinks aloud.
..
The security guard who'd later introduced himself as Mr Harrisburg, left Anna at the sitting room. 'She will be downstairs at any moment. He'd checked on his wristwatch. Anna moved her eyes in all sides of the lavishly appearing sitting room. She couldn't wait any longer. This was the time that she could carry out a clean job.
Anna ascended the grandly stylish stairway and was striding along the hallway. The chandeliers didn't miss to radiate incredibly in the hall. She saw doors but couldn't guess the one that was Viviane's. Anna was aware she should be careful to avoid getting caught. At the moment she was to open the first door her hands decided, she heard someone whistling a melody and drawing near. Anna immediately pushed inside. Her eyes went fast to the photo frame on the wall. The lady in her 40s was smiling beautifully from it. She cognised instantly that it was the room of Viviane. How lucky she was. She was hunting the glided room with her eyes and didn't see her. Within seconds, Anna heard a rush of water from the other side of the room. Viviane was in the bathroom. Quietly, she walked over to the cabinet and was going for the bathroom door with the knife firmly on left hand, then a soft knock came on the door.
“Mrs Viviane Santana, your lunch is ready.“ The person on the outside uttered. She was chewing on a gum.
'This is crazy.' Anna cursed. She quickly hid the knife back into the bag.
“Give me 30minutes.“ Anna pretended to be Viviane. She waits to listen, and hears the person shuffling away.
She was thankful Viviane didn't note anything that had happened. She was holding the knife again and was heading to bathroom. Slowly, she opens the door and saw the naked woman laying inside the bathing tub with eyes closed. Anna fasten the lock on the door behind her.
“Hello, Viviane.“ Anna was grinning so hard. Viviane shot her eyes open in surprise and was turning her face. “Thought you were safe? I'm sorry your security ain't no good. You should sack 'em. But, oops, you wouldn't be able to when you're dead.“ Anna catwalks to stand in front of her.
“Do I know you. I'm naked for…” Her eyes met the sharp blade.
“Shh, I'm seeing that already.“ She cuts in. “The best death sentence should be when you die naked. Cous why not. You came into this world naked and so… why not go naked?“
“Who on earth are you?“ Viviane spoke both in disbelief and daze. She was struggling to leave the tub but something consistently pushed her back right in.
“Don't be in a haste.“ Anna was patting Viviane's jaw. The water on Viviane's face wet her palm.
Viviane was going to shout but something was holding back her voice.
“Like I said before, do not be in a haste.“ e Anna was growing angry.
Viviane had started crying. “Who are you, and what did I do?“
Anna smirked a little. “Surely you would recall the night of gilbardo, how six girls killed a soul.“
Viviane panicked. She was gazing at the youthful face. A lot of questions ran wild in her thoughts and the sight of the knife frightened her. “Please don't hurt me… I haven't killed anyone.“
“Yes, you did. Six of you murdered me on that night. I killed Justine and it's now your turn. One by one I will avenge my death until the six of you are screaming in hell.“ She spat.
“You killed Justine?“ Viviane recalled when Jolie told her about her daughter's dream and how she believed that Juliette could be the cause of Justine's death. Viviane hadn't believed. She had said to Jolie and Danielle that Juliette was dead and couldn't possibly come out of her grave and kill Justine. She believed it to be an attacker. But everything stared clear to her face now. Juliette had found her way into a young girl. Viviane understood everything now.
“Yes, and you're next.“ An evil grin displayed on her lips.
“Please no…” Viviane cried her last words. Her neck was cut off. The customized diamond necklace she was wearing fell in her pool of blood.
