Kendrick Cuomo sat on the desk staring long at a corner. He was so sad after hearing the news of Juliette's disappearance Why did she have to go to where no one knows. 'where are you Julie.' he sighed and covered his face with his palm. Meanwhile, Jolie was gazing at him from the doorway. When he looks up to see Jolie, he became surprised, he didn't know she was standing there all along.
Slowly, Jolie walks up to him and utters. "Why. You don't have to quit daydreaming about her simply because I'm here."
Kendrick realizing who she spoke of says. "Have a little sympathy, she's missing."
"Yeah I know she's missing you don't have to remind me over again. Of recent she's always in your thoughts."
"Yes because I miss her. I mean... she's lost that's the reason why I miss her. I'm always praying she's back safely."
"So you would continue your romance." Jolie held a smile with a sad look.
Ken was getting annoyed. "Jolie will you stop all this. What're you talking about?"
"It's all good."
"Don't you want her to be found?"
"We are praying for the same thing."
He looks at her for a minute and said. "You were my first love and..."
"And we are going to get married." She cuts in.
..
Danielle was driving west of the byroad and took a glimpse at Jolie who was gazing at the quarterlight window. She looks like she was lost in thoughts. Her crimson lips was the matching color of her styled hair and it made her look more adorable. Since Danielle knew Jolie, she always knew her to be fashionable when it comes to her choices of clothes. Jolie wore a voguish purplish-red fur coat and some spruced blue jean. She observed the gem jewel sparkling on Jolie's wrist.
"What's going on in your mind. Can I slid in." Danielle grins at her way.
Jolie sighs. "I was thinking about Justine, and you know how close we were back then in secondary school. Do you remember when we had bets that she couldn't approach the chocolate guy and tell him that he was too ugly and that he should also quit smiling too much?"
"She slipped to fall face to the ground on the way. Surprisingly it was the dude that helped her from the floor while we were watching from the window with anticipation plus amazement." Danielle says.
"And she didn't ever tell him again."
"That was because she ended up as his girlfriend until graduation. Did they break up?" They spoke from memory with smiles.
"I don't know. But he appeared true."
"Yeah."
"Remember when her former boyfriend broke up with her for a junior." Danielle gave a hair a little push.
"I remember she'd cried all week and we swore to make him pay." Jolie says.
Danielle laughs a little. "We lied to him that we saw his mother got hit by a truck on our way to the school. He didn't believe, but when he saw our seriousness he was forced to believe. We told him that she was taken to the hospital." Danielle was saying.
"Fake hospital." Jolie was grinning. "What's the name Georgia forged and told him again?"
"I would never forget, Demwu infirmary."
"He was running out of the school gate only with a fake hospital name. No location or anything." Jolie laughs.
"We made the young lad miss his tests that would take him to his next class. Poor boy had to repeat the grade." it was Danielle
"Julliet's plan."
"He didn't look at our way ever again. We'd did him silly." Danielle stated.
"Yeah. He'd hurt a friend so he deserves that."
"Demwu. As in, damn you. Don't ever mess with us. Gabriella had told me the acronym when I asked how she quickly brought up the name." Danielle recollected.
"I never would've imagined we would fall apart." Says Jolie. "Many memories that suggests we shouldn't have."
"Time."
"And now she's gone. We didn't get to spend time together. I wish I'd known earlier to look for her home address."
"It's too late now. But you can say everything you wish to say to her on the day of her funeral. She will be glad to hear 'em."
Jolie was fighting the hot tears trying to find its way in her eyes. "May whoever killed you rot in hell. I love you Justine. Always will." She hears herself say.
..
Danielle speeds up when she saw the the traffic light turn green. "Phone Viviane and inform her that we would be arriving soon."
Few seconds, and Jolie was calling Viviane. "It's switched off."
"Why is that?"
"I don't know."
..
Danielle blew the horn again and a security guard was seen stretching his neck to view the vehicle. He opened the wicket and came towards the drivers window. Danielle opened the car window and was gazing at him.
"Have an appointment?"
Danielle recognized the man. He was the one that had escorted Viviane out of the office and into her car on the day they'd visited. She could tell that he recognized her also. "We have a scheduled meeting with Viviane today." She said.
The man waits without uttering a word. He looked like he was taking in the words. "There's bad news."
"Bad news?" Danielle eyes met Jolie's.
"Yes. Ms Viviane was found dead in her bathtub yesterday by the cleaning lady. Mr Santana has strictly orders not to welcome anyone not from the office or anywhere. He's grief-striken. She died a miserable death and her body has been taken to the morgue. Investigations is ongoing." He filled in the details.
Jolie's eyes was watering and Danielle couldn't believe what they were told. "how come." Jolie was shivering in fear. "Danielle, Viviane is dead. This explains everything." She said. "We could be next."
"Thanks." Danielle glanced at the man in uniform and he nods and she closed the window. "How is this possible?"
"It could be any of us next." Jolie says all over again.
"It's been 20 years since she died. Why is she doing this now." Danielle was troubled.
"Viviane is dead, oh no..." Jolie was in tears.
"Gabriella. We must contact Gabriella." Danielle was going for her phone. "She might be the next. We must let her know about it... And Louisiana."
"This is crazy. Juliette you're crazy! Even in death I'm wishing you decay in hell. How dare you." Jolie wailed.
"One thing is sure, Juliette isn't doing this alone. I mean she's but a spirit, right?" Danielle reasons.
"Anna."
