By plastic dagger

I huffed out a cloud of smoke as I stared blankly at the boring river. Nothing seemed weird nor out of place, and this was probably going to be the only time I'd be complaining about that.

I turned towards Ranboo, about to announce for us to check a different spot but he was fixated towards the woods across the river, silently and intently looking at one certain place.

Without a word, I glanced towards where he was looking and saw nothing, but i trusted his half-zombie instincts more than I trusted my boring human ones and so I shined the flashlight towards the spot, seeing nothing but tall ruffled grass.

"It's not safe." I hear Ranboo whisper, like he just read through what I was about to do but I didn't listen, I never seem to. I stepped against the exposed rocks poking out of the water and made my way across the river, pushing the grass aside by my baseball bat and that alone opened a whole new scenery.

My eyes widen and my heart raced uncontrollably at the sight handed before me. The place almost looked like a nest of a creature of some sort, a very sick and unhinge creature that is.

I hear Ranboo follow after me but my eyes didn't leave this newly discovered wreck of a place, seeming like if I did, something would pounce at me from the shadows.

The place looked like a Saw movie scene, there were pools of blood puddling the muddy ground and there were pieces of flesh trailing the ground. I stepped further into the place, the sickening smell only growing the closer I got.

It seemed like an abandoned campsite, thrashed and brandished messily throughout the woods. Looking at this filth of a place, the realization finally dawned on me. What if Dream didn't survive? What if somehow, we'll just run into his distorted and ate up corpse?

I refused to step any further into this defiled waste matter, scanning my surroundings firstly for any signs of danger or for any signs that would clear my conscience at all, something that could reassure me Dream was alive.

I took a deep inaudible breath and when the voices was finally quiet enough, I held up the courage to investigate into the place further but before I could even manage to take a step, Ranboo's hand was around my arm,.pulling me back as a rotten figure rush past me.

My eyes widen, If it weren't for Ranboo I would've already been attacked after stumbling over that thing. At this point, a million of questions were running through my mind.

How come I'm still alive? How come It didn't attack me? Where was it going? How was it so fast?

I was forcefully pulled out of my thoughts as Ranboo starts to take the lead, walking  towards where the deceased headed. With most of my nerves filled with hesitation, I followed closely behind.

Third Person's POV;

The loud clatters of different kinds of dining utensils crowds throughout the hall, Along with the joyful inaudible overlapping conversations of the people who were lucky enough to be given a chance to live.

Everything was going so well, they were served food, promised safety, provided with necessities and especially shelter; The thing to be treasured the most inside the experiments borders.

"I don't like this, it's yuck." An english brunette grimaces in pure disgust as he pushes the plate Infront of him away. He shudders exaggeratedly, making his white goggles slide down slightly down his nose.

The girl beside him sent him a sharp glare, as she continues to chow down on the food she was given with gratitude. "Did you expect a 5-course meal, prince?" The brown-eyed girl spoke sassily, emphasizing the sarcastic nickname.

"You can't expect anything more, you're not the only priority here." She added in a serious tone as she looked around the bunker's dining. Though the brunette only rolled his eyes. "Why did I even leave london??" George asked himself frustratingly.

"Oh yeah cause london is so immune to zombie apocalypses." Katness replied sarcastically before downing out her glass of water. George raised an eyebrow and looked at her with a judging expression.

"Why is a slut talking to me right now." He asks with venom lacing his tongue though what was supposed to be an insult did not raise a reaction from Katness whatsoever but before she could respond, the loud sound of a metal spoon clicking against a wine glass interrupts the whole atmosphere.
