I was up the next morning and went to the kitchen.I picked up the newspaper and as expected there were new pictures of me with Virat.I was anrgy,more at myself. I saw my phone and it had a missed call from my mother.I haven't picked her call since 2 days.I called her.

'Hey,mom' I said.

'Where have you been girl? No phones, no messages! Everybody was so worried for you' She yelled.

'I'm sorry..I was just busy in work' I said.

'I can see what you were busy at' She said.

'Mom,please' I said.

'Whatever it is,nobody is liking it here' She said'and you better stop it' She added.

'Mom listen to me there is nothing between me and Virat,okay? everything is finished and I don't want to talk about it now please' I shouted.

'Just take care of yourself' She said.She seemed concerned. 'Do you want me to come over for sometime?' She asked.

'No mom I'm..I'm fine, I gotta go.bye,mom love you' I said.

I got ready and went to my car.The face of Virat,the way he spoke yesterday everything just flashed in front of me.We fought and broke up.I had no other option,these things were not going to an end.And how I wished he could've stayed irrespective of what I said.I wish he could've held onto me.
The moment I got out of the gate of the building,there were so many photographers as if they were waiting for me to come outside.I drove as fast as I would from there.I reached my office and everybody came in rushing towards me.
I got into the washroom and called Neha.

'Hey' She said

'Hey,look let's just go out somewhere' I said.

'Okay I'll meet you in the afternoon' She replied.

'Okay see you' I said and immediately disconnected the phone.

I looked at myself in the mirror.Thinking about how everything went wrong,horribly wrong.

It was afternoon.Neha and I went for some shopping.

'Thank you for coming' I said.

'Anytime' she said and smiled.

'And I'm sorry,it's your wedding day tomorrow and I called you' I said

'Hey,it's okay.This is what friends are for.I would come for you anytime' She and hugged me.

I cried.

'Will he ever forgive me?' I asked.

'That doesn't matter now,what matters now is how you're gonna go from here.So,lift up your head,you'll be fine' She said wiping my tears.

'Yea,thanks' I said.

I went back to my office,feeling really annoyed.I was stuck basically, didn't knew how to get out of the situation I put myself in.I wondered what Virat must be doing.My eyes were shut and I laid my head on the table.

'You okay?' I heard.it was my boss.

'Yes,sir' I said standing up.

'I had a thought on the leave you requested and you've got it' He said.

Yes,I requested him for a leave for one week.Team India was going to New Zealand three days later,I wanted to accompany Virat.But now it was all wasted.

'Thank you,Sir but I don't need a leave now' I said.

'Why?' He asked.

'You were right, sir.I couldn't handle the hype, I broke up' I told him trying to keep my tears in.
