Hope you all have a blessed Father's Day! 🙏🏻
If your father is still around, please make sure to hug them and show your appreciation. I'm blessed that my Papa is still here. For the past year, he's been the family's pillar of strength after my Mama died of cancer in October last year. His resilience and faith encouraged us to move forward with our head up high. 🫰🏻
Anyway, thank you once more for sticking around to read more from this book! What are your thoughts about the story so far, particularly the gut-wrenching last two chapters?
I actually cried after I wrote chapter seven. The fact that it was written as a songfic made me tear up more. Shattered was one of my favorite songs off the Backstreet Boys' This Is Us album. That's why I incorporated its lyrics in that chapter. I was also a little upset at Blythe's attitude toward Marvey. Then again, it is what it is as far as she is concerned.
Now, with Marvey out of the picture in the meantime, someone from Blythe's past will surface. While we already know his character profile, we will learn more about him in chapters 8 and 9. Let's see how will he sweep off her feet.
