Hope y'all are doing well, and thank you for checking back on this book. What are your thoughts on IMHIWYA so far? ☺️
I have only one thing to say and you can't convince me otherwise: Marvey and Blythe are heaps of adorable together. ❤️🩵 Yet, they couldn't confess their love to each other's faces. 😅
By now, you have noticed how differently this story was written. The pacing here was comparatively fast, and the characters' thoughts weren't delved deeply. When I wrote this story in 2011, I did it without reading other novels to add inspiration or knowing how to write it creatively. In Tagalog, gawa ito sa sarili kong diskarte.
Then I discovered Wattpad sometime between 2013-2014. After reading a few novels here, I learned different writing styles that would add appeal to my story. So after some contemplation, I decided to upload IMHIWYA here. Before I published the first nine chapters, they went through a few rounds of proofreading and added a few more elements to polish them up.
I was satisfied after publishing the first nine chapters and was looking forward to completing the entire book. However, when I started reviewing the rest, I realized some parts either had loopholes or were poorly written. So against my better judgment, I unpublished the first nine chapters while fixing the issues.
It didn't really take me nine years to finish it. Life just got in the way shortly after I was done. Not to mention I started plotting the Invisible String series and What Are The Chances. Hence, it took that long to revisit this story. No worries though, as I intended to publish the entire book, for good.
So without further ado, three new chapters are now published. They're my personal favorites for a reason. As always, comments and suggestions are much appreciated. 🫶🏻
