Amilia Pov:
10 years, more like nearly 20 since Greenwood and I'm a little surprised my life turned out like this. Most people after having a life full of pain and torture would kill themselves or isolate.
I didn't do either. I instead married Azrael, took her last name, took her business, and had three kids with her. 15 years of marriage, plenty of secrets from the kids and lots of crime have led me to this exact moment.
"Mrs. Whitlock if you'll follow me." Standing up I let out a sigh and follow the officer. She leads me to the back with the holding cells.
"Mom, how's it going?" A cheeky smile graced my troublemaker's face. I pinched the bridge of my nose in irritation.
"You're grounded."
"Fair enough." She opens the cell door and lets him out into my custody. I gave a tight smile and grabbed him by the ear.
"Ow! Mom that hurts!" I tugged him with me, irritated that I was missing a meeting for this.
"Speeding Ryker? You shouldn't even be driving." Az and I have rules about involving ourselves with police but I broke that for now.
"I was trying to prove my point. My point being I'm not a bitch and I can race fast. If anything you should blame uncle Jeremy for teaching me." He defended himself, giving me a wide smile.
"No electronics for 2 weeks. And uncle jermeys getting a foot in his ass." I held up two fingers to him, going to the driver side with a scowl.
"Objection! Thats a harsh punishment." He raised a hand up, following me to the car.
"Get in the car!" Listening quickly he rushed to his door and got in.
Checking my watch I head home, deciding to have my assistant cover for me today. Az would be home soon and dinner wouldn't be far away. Ryker sat staring out the window with a sad expression.
My heart ached to see him growing up so quickly, all my babies are no longer babies. Ryker is taller than me now, his hair is longer and he's turning out to be a handsome younger man.
"If I apologize, can I get a reduced sentence?" He asked me, giving a very familiar smile. One that looks very much like his dad's.
"No but ask your other parent and we'll talk." He sulked but agreed. Pulling up to the house I let him wander off as I put my things away.
Doing some papers and reading over notes from the meeting in my office when I'm interrupted by knocking on the door. Letting them in I peek up and see Arthur standing and waiting for my attention.
"Hi honey. What's up?" Standing from my desk I round the thing and go closer, giving him a hug.
"I was letting you know dad's home, she just picked me and Thena up from practice." He hugged me back and kissed my cheek. Arthur was different from Ryker.
The boys are close and get along very well but they're different from each other. Arthur stood at the same height with shorter white hair and piercing blue eyes. He was the spitting image of Azrael, the problem was Ryker has her recklessness.
Arthur is more well behaved and less problematic. He does well in school, doesn't get into trouble, and looks to be the best while getting our approval. He wants to be just like Azrael.
Ryker on the other hand was the opposite. Yes he kept good grades but he spends his free time with bad kids, racing, and getting into any trouble he could. He wanted to be just like Azrael, from a younger time and it drove me crazy.
