Another day passed. I wasn't planning on going to school today, but then I got a text from Sam.
"You haven't been to school in 3 days, Tod," she texted.
"Well, maybe I don't feel like going," I texted back.
"Well, if you want to get a good job, I suggest going," she replied.
"What's your deal in asking me about my future?" I asked.
No answer. I know you don't have to text right away, but it was creepy how the message I sent Sam wasn't marked as read.
"Sam?" I texted, "You there?"
No answer.
"Your class doesn't start until 8:30, Sam. You were just active..."
No answer.
"You okay, Sam?" I asked.
No answer.
"Sam, are you trying to freak me out or what?" I asked. She started typing, and then I received a video. I didn't know what to expect as I clicked on it.
