We finally got him. We roped him in a chair.
He woke up.
"Where am I?" he asked.
"Daniel's house," I said. "Where's the necklace?"
"I don't have it," he answered. I turned to the others and spoke in Russian.
"Sam still has it. You two go fetch," I ordered. Tod and Daniel left to get it. I turned back to Rodriguez. "How do you plan on escaping?" I asked him.
"I'm a great actor," he said. I laughed.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"It means that I just faked being unable to run, breathe, or talk," he said, and the ropes fell off him.
