We locked Sam's door to her bedroom. She stirred in her bed. If she wakes up, we will have to get a new identity, at least for me. That would be embarrassing.
We looked around. We looked on Sam's stand, her desk, and her dresser, and we even looked at her neck. Nothing. Daniel looked under her bed to find a safe, which he pulled out.
"Rickety old safe you got here, Sam. It'll take me thirty seconds to crack the code," he whispered. I felt bad for Sam. Even though she already had a man, I still loved her, but I would get promoted if I got the necklace. I was new at the RIA, and no one trusted me. If I got the necklace, it would make me a hero. I would–
Then I heard the knob unlock, and the door opened. Then suddenly, I felt something–or someone–hit my neck, then it was black.
