The covers fell off of Kiran's legs as she lay in Jahi's bed. Gunner jumped on top of the bed, making his way to Kiran's face and watching her sleep.
She knew he was in the room from all the dangling and rattling of his collar. "Hey, Gunner." She mumbled pulling the cover back on her body. Gunner sat down on top of the cover watching the TV that was on.
"I'm guessing Jahi went somewhere because he wouldn't let you be in the bed." Kiran turned her head staring at Gunner who jumped down from the bed trying to show her where he was.
"Okay okay, I'm coming. I need to brush my teeth first." Kiran stood up from the bed stretching. She slid her feet into pink fluffy slippers.
She drags herself to the bathroom, and Gunner followed her. She flipped the light switch in his bedroom and she immediately turned it back off since it was too bright. Kiran reached down in his cabinet to grab a new toothbrush.
