I sit around idle, staring into nothingness and long for a life I barely remember,
But in my heart, I know I'm happier because you are in there,

Tell me what's so magical
about you that makes me wanna go back in time,
Just so I can spend

Just one more minute of the smile in your bright eyes and the soft humming under your breath;

Please just give me another minute of your voice coz just the mere reassurance of you presence quenches all my doubts.

Why do I wanna go back and make it so that you'd always have my back and we'd be beyond forever and always.

I only saw from a child's naive eyes;

even though,
you've always taught me to accept and move on why am I still stuck in the beautiful prison of your memories and the eerie void of your absence.

What's so magical about you that,
Just for another minute of your presence beside me,
I'd gladly sell my soul.
Just for another word from your mouth I'd gladly burn the world down.
Just for another minute of YOU,
I'd do anything it takes,
because it's just better with you,
Every moment, every laugh, every tear and every scar would just be better with you.
