Another rainy day. Akira looked at the clock. The boys would be heading off to school soon. After two weeks, they trusted her enough to remain alone at home. While they were at school, Akira would wander the mansion and occasionally clean up. Her new life was rather peaceful. Akira felt almost content with it, aside from the facet that a little part of her missed her brothers and Yui.
Yui...was she fine?
That was the question Akira pondered over everyday.
Ruki opened her door without knocking. He stepped inside and tossed a bundle of familiar fabric onto the chair.
"Change," was all he said before exiting.
Akira picked up the uniform. It was creased, but had been washed since she last saw it, and it smelled a little like them all. Akira looked at the door. A tiny smile crossed her lips. The Mukami brothers were just as standoffish and rude as her own siblings, but they did seem to care, after all.
"Thanks, Ruki."
As they walked down the corridors, the boys walked in a sort of formation, surrounding her from all sides as if to obscure her from other students' eyes with their bodies as barriers.
Akira vaguely wondered if she would run into any of her siblings or Yui. Maybe this was one time thing, and the Mukamis only allowed her to go to school on a whim?
The polished marble tiles and overbearing crystal chandeliers were a sight Akira hadn't see in a while. To her greater surprise, the boys left her in the main hall.
"We're going to class. See you, Masochistic Kitten!" Kou blew her a kiss.
"Bye..." Akira waved as they all spared her glances and mumbled goodbyes.
Akira surveyed the empty hall. There was no one about. If she wanted to, she could escape right then...
No. Something held her back. Akira shrugged it off and decided to walk to class maybe she would see Yui there?
She passed a familiar figure on her way and stopped in her tracks. "Oh, Reiji!" Awful attitude and all, Akira was still genuinely relieved to see him. Reiji apparently did not share the same sentiment. Her brother stared at her without a hint of warmth. "I was wondering where you went. Now I see."
He sniffed in displeasure as his gaze ran over her uniform. Could he perhaps smell...?
Akira bobbed her head. "Sorry I didn't keep in touch..."
"Bitch-chan, you're so cruel," purred a voice in he ear.
"Laito!"
"Did you abandon us to go have fun with them?" Laito pouted.
"And of all things...you're with those Impures...Teddy and I are disappointed in you." Kanato hid behind Teddy with a withering glare. "Inconceivable."
"Well, theres someone who's even looking for you al this time..." Laito smirked.
"Yui...?" Akira asked.
"Are you talking about Ayato?" Kanato avoided looking at her. Laito nodded. "Yeah, but he ditched school today. Lucky you." He grinned wolfishly.
"What about Yui and Kino..."
Reiji looked at her coldly. "Oh? It appears you were not notified."
"Notified about...?" Akira wanted to know. She still had no Intel on Yui's wellbeing! But they had gone.
Yuma stalked up the stairs to his next class. Vaguely, he wondered about the sow. What was she doing then? On his way, he came across a sleeping Shu, legs stretched out on the staircase. Yuma really despised that guy for some reason. He really had no reason. His first impression of the eldest Sakamaki was so unimpressive that Yuma simply developed an active hostility for him after.
