Akira poked her head into Reiji's study. Once again, he had fallen asleep in his chair over another one of his alchemy books. On light feet, she tiptoed over an plucked his glasses off for him, and bookmarked the page in his book before leaving it on his desk. As she was brushing away the accumulated duat on his bookshelf with the feather duster, he stirred from the flying debris.
"Why are you here again?"
He groggily slipped on his spectacles, looking annoyed. Akira shrugged. "Can't I help ypu every once in a while?" Reiji huffed at her response. "Fine. Then brew some tea for me."
Setting down the feather duster, Akira obediently went to carry put his order. As she was waiting for the kettle to boil, he added, begrudgingly. "Just this once, you may make some for yourself." Akira's lips curved. "Why thank you, brother."
After she was done steeping the tea leaves, she drained them and served the steaming beverage on a silver platter, setting it down in front of her brother with a flourish. "Enjoy your tea, Sir."
Just as Akira was about to have a sip, Reiji took the teacup and the saucer, then held it out to her. "Please wait. Allow me to change my set with yours."
Akira cocked her head, channeling the right amount of defensiveness and innocence. "Why?"
Reiji looked at her haughtily. "Sister, do you take me for a fool? I know that you're still not over the time I used you as a test subject." He sniffed. "Now, swap with me or no tea for you." He pressed. Caving, Akira took his cup and silently observed as he took the cup to his mouth. Akira's lips curled into a smug smile of triumph on the lip of her teacup. She gulped down the tea and watched as Reiji arrogant features twisted into confusion, then red-faced anger as he realised Akira had successfully pulled the cloth over his eyes. With shaking hands, Reiji slammed the china onto the table, making it rattle.
"What--what did you put in there?" He hissed.
Akira crossed her legs and leaned back leisurely. "Oh, just a little something. I laced it with your favourite aphrodisiac!" Reiji's face was beginning to flush a violent shade of red. From his rage or the effects of the drug, Akira couldn't be sure.
"You--better--fix me," he panted, gripping the arms of his chair. "Or else--"
"Or?" Akira beamed at him, waving a vial of liquid in his face. The antidote. Reiji's eyes widened as he recognised it. He lunged, but his spinning head caused him to fall unceremoniously into her lap. Akita could feel the heat of his flesh through the material of her skirt. She grinned and patted his head. "If you bark like a dog, I'll give it to you. Three seconds!"
He brother's face displayed nothing but pure horror. "You--I--"
His fingers dug into her thighs as he pressed his burning forehead into her lap. Akita felt the vibration of his voice.
"W--woof..."
Akira bit her tongue to suppress her laughter. "I can't hear you..."
"W--"
"Too late!" She giggled, and let the bottle slip from her fingers. Reiji, too incapacitated to do anything much, only watched in silent horror as the antidote spilt across the floor. Taking one last second to appreciate Reiji's horror-stricken face, she bent down and pressed her lips to his. She pulled away as Reji slid off her lap, touching a finger to his lip.
"How..."
Akira flashed him a smug expression. "I put the antidote in the tea, and on my lips. Gotcha." She winked and quickly stood, preparing to make her escape. Reiji was going to regain mobility in no time. "Bye!" She dashed for the exit, but was caught by her collar.
"Not so fast," Reiji hissed, heated breath washing over her neck. He still hadn't completely recovered. Akita bit her lip. She was in touble. Dragging her back inside, Reiji threw her over his desk and locked the door. "I'm going to punish you."
