One where Niall was just put with the others, and he's trying to hide his colorblindness.
I know Niall actually has colorblindness, but in this one he's going to have really bad protanomaly.
NIALL POV:
I'm outside the door of the flat we're meeting up at.I'm pretty sure I'm the last one, but I'm still out here because I really don't want the boys to find out about my colorblindness. I don't really know why, maybe they'll treat me differently or something?
I finally open the door and the others are all there.
"Niall!"
"Hey!"
"Hi," I whisper.
"I'm Zayn," someone says waving.
"I'm Louis," someone else says.
"I'm Liam," another says, waving me over to the couch.
I sit down next to him.
"And I'm Harry," a cute curly says.
"Hi," I awkwardly say again.
One Month Later
NIALL POV:
The boys and I are pretty close now. Pretty close. They still haven't found out about my colorblindness, and I still haven't told them. I think I don't want them to know because it's already been a month, and they might get mad that I've been keeping it from them. But, if that's the reason, I'm only making it worse by waiting, right?
Ugh, whatever, they might find out eventually anyways. I've already had some close calls.
Just then, someone knocks on the door.
"Come in," I say.
"Hey, we're gonna watch a movie. Wanna join?"
"Sure."
We go downstairs and everyone else is already there. They all wave.
"Hey Ni."
"Hi," is all I say.
They just smile back.
"We were thinking you could choose it today, yea?"
"Huh?"
"The movie!"
"Oh, sure."
I start scrolling under comedy movies.
"Ooh! Let's look at that one!"
"Which?" I ask.
"The one with, like, a red background."
Shoot! That's the color that's hard for me.
"Uhh, why don't you click it..?"
"...why?"
"Uhh..." I say.
Suddenly, I run out back to my room.
I sit on the bed and start crying.
Stupid! Why am I even crying!?
The boys knock on my door but I don't say anything.
They come in and Harry starts rubbing my back.
"Ni," he says sadly, "why are you crying?"
I try to ignore them, but deep down I know I have to tell them.
"I-I-I," I start, but the words don't come out.
"It's ok, you can take your time."
I slightly smile.
"I-I can't-" I break down sobbing again.
"Is it, maybe, you're colorblind?" Liam hesitantly asks.
I look up and barely nod.
"Hey, it's ok, we're not gonna judge you."
"I'm sorry for not telling you."
"It's ok, but there's nothing to be embarrassed about. And... we all kind of suspected it."
"I'm sorry."
"We forgive you, bud, it's gonna be ok."
"I-I'm gonna take a nap now," I say.
"Ok, you must be tired from all this."
I just nod.
One Week Later
NIALL POV:
I wake up with four boys staring at me."What?" I ask groggily.
They're all smiling. Then, I notice a gift box on the nightstand.
"What's that?" I ask pointing.
"Open it!" Harry excitedly says.
The other boys seem just as excited.
Louis brings it onto my bed.
I start tearing off the gift wrapping paper, but as soon I see the box, I start RIPPING it off.
I open the box, throwing things everywhere.
"Colorblind glasses!" I shout.
"Do you like your gift?"
"Thank you!" I say starting to cry.
I go over to the boys and put them into a group hug.
"You haven't even put them on yet!"
I immediately grab them and put them on. They work right away.
"What!? What color is that!?" I say, pointing to one of the balloons.
"Haha, that's red!"
"What!? THAT'S red? What about that?"
"Orange."
"Orange!? What the hell is orange?"
The boys all laugh.
"It's red and yellow mixed together, usually."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
They all laugh and we go into another group hug.
I know it was bad.
