Giants in New York

Chapter 10

The next day(after giving him  Lucas' lantern,a key,and a small brown bag, and the key to get inside)Calvin discussed the plan with Sky. He would first close his eyes and say," New York City and to their lab";and he would arrive there( where it will still be nighttime).

Arriving there,he would use the key and lantern to open the door and go down a hallway until he found a door that said team lab .Entering inside, he would turn on the light switch(which was to the right on the wall),and would gather aloof their potions into the bag. Looking at the bag,he saw that it was really tiny,but being in this town long enough, he had a feeling that it magically got bigger as you put stuff in it.

Then he would close his eyes and say "Grimville '' and would return back to this town so they could help them make a formula to turn them human again. After he was done explaining everything;Sky said New York City and to their lab and arrived in front of the lab building. Bravely he then opened the door using the keys. and walked into the darkness.As he walked through the hallway;Sky was surprised when he saw the lights magically turn on. Now Usually being alone inside a place would scare him, but for some reason as he walked to their lab room ; he felt very brave. However, once the lights weirdly started flickering off and on and the room suddenly felt like an igloo; the boy felt a little bit of fear run down his back and his body quickly started to shake. As if that wasn't enough, with this cold came a really violent wind that pushed him back like castle guards. Now this was weird because as he looked around he saw no windows. He tried to wish for everything to go back to normal, but then he remembered that he wasn't in Grimville anymore. Instead of giving up, he strongly pushed forward against the wind. Reaching the lab, he held on tight to the door, swung it open, and walked inside.Like before, the light magically turned on when he entered the room. Looking around at all the potions,( that were aligned in shelves on the wall) and the white board notes. Sky was in total amazement.

Remembering his mission, the boy quickly started grabbing all the potions and putting them in the small bag( that grew bigger with every item that he placed inside it). While doing this the heat in the room started to increase and the boy's body started to sweat." Man the place gets abandoned for a few days and all of a sudden its air conditioning goes haywire. Luckily, he was able to push through the heat and collect all of the potions. Now speaking in a place that's really hot as you can imagine can be really hard, and when Sky tried to get back to the Giants it was nothing but hard .

At first his voice ended up taking him to Boston, Massachusetts Thankfully from there, he had enough air and was able to return back to see the Giants. Arriving there,; the giants thanked him and started grabbing all the potions out and testing them.They all then quickly mixed two or more together to see if they could find the right formula.The first one they tried turned them each into different animals.The next then turned them into dwarfs. Finally the last mixture had no effect that they could really see. Thinking they were not human again, the Giants walked to the end of the town and stepped out of it.Looking at their body and each other, sadness grew on their faces as they saw that the mixture had not worked.Walking back, all of them then angrily picked up all the leftover potions and placed them carefully back in the bag. Next they all said, " New York and to their lab " and they all returned in front of their lab.Since she was to tall to fit in her own car, Skys aunt  and him walked to Skys house. Now in a small town; there isnt alot of sidewalk traffic; but since  Sky lived in New York City , the streets were  crowded  with people  that Sky and his aunt had to weave threw. Unfortunetly, when people spotted his Giant aunt they started to scream. Luckily the noise was muted by the loud and noisy sound of veicle engines. Just in case;they ran as fast as they could with their hearts beating quickly out of their chests(worrying Skys aunt was going to get caught by someone).However every step closer that they got to his house;they both were surprised  and happy to see his aunt slowly shift back into her normal height. Arriving at his house outside his house, Sky knocked on the door. Opening the door he saw his dead man who gave both of them a hug and told them to come inside. When Sky's dad asked her how her trip was she said that it was okay and that it changed her.Sky then laughed a little bit. Since it was so late, Sky's dad let her spend the night with them. After Thanking her, they all went to bed.
