Niki sighed, taking a sip of her boba. "So... what's your plan?"
I shook my head, dazed, confused and tired. "I honestly don't know. He's blocked me everywhere, the cafe's shut down, and I don't even know where he lives."
"You don't even know what school he goes to?"
"No, I guess I never thought of asking him that." I leaning back in the plastic chair, exhaling. "...I never really even thought of him going to school. Like, I only knew him in the 'after school' sense. He was kinda... like a mystic."
"... You've known him for two years and never thought of asking him which school he went to?"
I blushed. "I-well... all I knew was that his home and school were in the area of the cafe... But, you have no idea how much courage it took for me to ask for his number. Do you really think I could have enough to ask for his address?"
Niki giggled. "Right, you didn't have enough balls to ask him which neighborhood he lived in."
"Niki!"
"Welp, it's too late to stress about that now, isn't it?"
Niki was off on her lunch break with me. It was a sunny Saturday, so I decided that we should go and get boba while we discussed my never-ending troubles and recent ...dreams.
We sat outside at a little circular glass table. The air felt as if it was in intervals between summer and spring. Butterflies flew everywhere, accompanied by busy bees searching for flowers. The weather made you want to sighed and fall asleep. It was perfect... yet felt so bitter and lonely.
"I guess so..."
" You getting a new job?"
" Probably not... my mum found this law program I could do after school to get some credits for college. It's starting this Monday"
"Oh! I didn't know you wanted to be a lawyer, Wil."
"Uh, well, at first, I was just thinking of working on my music career, something I thought my parents supported."
"... But they don't..?"
I hummed , stirring my drink and watching the soft caramel and honey mix pleasantly with the boba at the bottom of the cup. "Well, they said that I shouldn't I 'reach for the stars' and that I should 'aim for something more reasonable' like law school. Then they started talking about my grades, then Icarus... convincing me that I'm smart enough to be a lawyer."
 "So... law school?"
