Adi looks down and there is a blood stain on her pants.

"Get me to the damn hospital!"

I carry her to the car.

"Jasmine, stay here!" I command as I get Rachel in the passenger's side. "God forbid we lost it, and Malcolm is there to witness it."

She nods even though she wants to rebel.

I start the car and race to the hospital.

"Adi, everything is going to be fine." I tell her.

"Hurry, before I lose him!" She demands.

I do as she tells me and soon we get there.

I carry her in the hospital.

"Sir we need you to wait." A nurse tell me.

"Hell no! My father is Derrick Yancy and if you don't get his daughter in law, who is caring his grandson, some help, the bored of directors will personally fire and you and you will damned if you ever work in nursing ever again."

The nurse losses color in her face. "I'm sorry, it's my first day-"

"Get her some attention!" I cut her off.

A gurney comes and I set her on it. They put us in a waiting room and a different nurse is quick to come in our room.

"The doctor will be here in a minute, but I feel we don't need to wait." She tells us then hands Adi a gown.

I quickly help her change and the nurse starts the Ultrasound.

"How many weeks are you?" The nurse asks still moving the stick in her stomach.

"Just made twenty four weeks."

"And you started bleeding."

"Yes." I hiss.

She focuses on the screen in front of her then stops suddenly. "There it is."

"Thank God!" Adi praises.

"What is the sex?" I ask.

"Well Mr. Yancy, you two will be having a beautiful girl."

"Yes! You owe me three hundred dollars." Adi teases.

"I was hoping you forgot about that bet."

"Not a chance we did it on all of our kids." She tells me with a smile.

"Umm however," the nurse says getting our attention, "the baby is showing signs of strain, so you'll have to be on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy."

"But we travel."

"Well for the safety of your wife and unborn child you shouldn't travel."

"What if I can't cancel the flight."

She glares at me. "Then no stress or keep her stress levels low. Oh, and, uh, no vigorous activities."

I nod and shoot a smirk at Adi.

She wraps up the Ultrasound and leaves the room.

I sigh.

"How are you going to keep my stress down?"

"By keeping you in bed." I answer.

"Like hell!" She demands.

"I don't want to debate about this."

"Good, because I'm not debating with you either."

"Good, because I might leave you with my parents."
