the water. A Lo'ak X Y/N Story

chapter 6

After a while exploring the sea and the sun is set you and tsireya come up from the water to find your father waiting for you. You just glance at eachother before you say
"What's wrong dad?"

"We need your help." He says. As he says that you walk over to him and tseriya walks away
"Yes father." You say bowing your head.
"The Omatikaya boy, he's causing trouble."
"What does that have to do with me." You say
"Well if you guys really are-"
"Where not."

" I was gonna say friends."
"We aren't." You say
"Well, me and your mother agreed you must look after him."
"What?"

"You must be his mentor." He says
"But dad,-"
"No buts, he went outside the reef."
"Really?"
"Yes, and we need you to make sure it doesn't happen again."

"Ofcourse father." You say bowing before he leaves. If lo'ak really went outside the reef,what was out there? What did he find? You had so many questions..

The next morning you woke up bright and early and headed over to the Sully's marui.
"Yo" you say walking up the family.
"Ty-lee, where very sorry for the trouble lo'ak has been-" Jake starts but you weren't worried about that.

"It's cool Mr.sully, lo'ak my father has sent me here for you." You say
"What?" He says as his family turns to look at him

"Did he cause trouble?" Neytiri says
"Well yes and no, you went beyond the reef right?"

"Hey look I'm sorry for that!" Lo'ak says
"My father has sent me to watch over you,be your mentor and keep you out of any more trouble." You say

"So come on get up we got stuff to do!" You say.
He gets up and his family watches as you both leave as you guys walk through all of the different maruis lo'ak doesn't even look at you.
"So how was it?" You say

"How was what.." he mumbles back
"Going beyond the reef how was it!" You say
"I don't know."
You guys both walk out into the sand and see ao'nung and rotxo
"Hey!" You say

"Oh hey ty-lee!" Rotxo says giving you a hug
"Oh but you don't do that when you see me" ao'nung says
"Oh whatever!" You say following them but as you walk lo'aks siblings all run up behind you guys
"Oh hey" ao'nung says.

You all walk out into the sand and sit in circle talking about what happened
"The ocean blessed you with a gift, brother" Kiri says

"The tulkun have not returned yet. And anyway, no tulkun is ever alone" ao'nung says
"Well this one was." Lo'ak says
"He had a-a missing fin, like a stump on the left side."

"Poor tulkun"
Me and tsireya look at eachother.
"Payakan." She says
"Who's payakan?" Kiri says
"A young bull who went rouge, he's an outcast alone. And he has a missing fin." Rotxo says
"They say he's a killer." Tseriya says
"But we don't know that." You add

"He killed na'vi-" ao'nung says
"And other tulkun, up south but we don't know if it's true." You add
"We do." Ao'nung says
"No,he's no killer." Lo'ak says

"Your lucky to be alive" tseriya says. You roll your eyes
"I'm telling you guys he saved my life." Lo'ak says

"Really?" You say in interest
"Yea, he's my friend." 
"Your only one?" You add. He just gives you the finger

"My baby bro, the mighty warrior who faced a tulkun and lived to tell about it, huh?" Neteyem adds smiling

"You guys aren't listening." He says
As his siblings try to reassure him he walks away. You follow in a hurry

"See y'all later!" You say chasing after him into the sea. You both get on skywalkers and go off into the ocean

"Did you really befriend payakan?" You say.
"Yea, they just won't believe me.." he says
"Well, they can only believe if they see!"
"What?"

"Show me it, come on" you say kicking his leg. As you do that you hear a little "ow" so u look down to see a bandage around lo'aks foot.
"Wow, who did that" you says
"They must be lucky"

"You remember?" He says
"Oh so I guess I am pretty lucky!" You say
"Haha, so funny." He says

"Ok show me that payakan!" You say
"But isn't going beyond the reef bad? Aren't you supposed to keep me from doing it?"
"You only get in trouble if you get caught." You say and both you and lo'ak ride into the water out past the reef.

"Here" he says and you both stop.
"Payakan!" He yells out a few times before a big tulkun comes out from the water. It was massive. You both get of the Skywalkers and swim up to it. It just stares at you
"Uh..'shes cool'" he signs to it.
"It's good to see you"

You both get up in it's fin
'why are you an outcast, what happened?'
It moans back
"What did it say" he says looking at you.
"It's to painful.." you say

'i can trust you, you can trust me' he signs to it before it brings you both underwater. You put you hand around it's fin as it swims around. The sea was just as beautiful as it was near the island. The dishes swam by you and you watched them fascinated before the tulkun opened his mouth and ate some. You chucked a little and lo'ak looked at you and smiled.

The tulkun went upside down and so did lo'ak you where to clumsy, you tried following him but fell of but he graded you before you floated away. He put his hand out and they touched the air you followed as he did. You guys swam all around and then the tulkun went up so you guys could get above sea level. Lo'ak got up and danced on the tulkun.

"What are you doing?" You say
"Dancing maybe you should try it out and not be so boring" he says
"Oh you call that dancing?" You say
"Like you can do better."

You stand up on the tulkun but it was hard to keep balance you almost fell once or twice.lo'ak still jumped around until the tulkun blew water out of its blow hole.

"Bro that's disgusting!" He says. You burst out laughing then you guys get back under and onto it's fin he tells it to go faster and it dose, so fast you both almost fly off as the water hit your face. Lo'ak did tricks and backflips you just watched him and looked at all of the water around you trying to admire it before you had to go back to the island.

When you guys get back there where where helicopters and Jake was grabbing stuff from it.lo'ak ran up to him but you did follow it's seemed like and emergency. Instead you standed next to there marui heard  that your mother was going to wake Kiri up from her seizure.
