Me and Gordie walked together. Gordie was a real champ. I nearly tripped over a rock as we walked down the hill. We saw the boys seeking around bushes.
"I'm guessing this is how we are going to get in...". I said.
"Well, no there just being dick heads right now." He responded. I laughed.
"Oh, okay." I said still laughing. Gordie walked up behind the boys and grabbed them by the shirt. He said,
"Alright, stop fooling around! Let's go find a spot to sit. We don't want Maddy walking on her leg.".
We walked to a perfect spot. The whole time we messed around. We didn't even watch the film.
Then Chris said, "Hey, I'm gonna get some popcorn guys. Teddy, Vern...come help me. Gordie, stay here with Maddy.". He stood up with the boys and we watched them walk away. Gordie looked me, then looked away. He looked back at me and said,
"Madeline, you really are great. You make me laugh a lot. You are an AMAZING friend. I love ya, best friend.". I was shocked. I responded by saying,
"Love ya too..." Gordie told me I was amazing and that I was a cool friend. Who wouldn't want to be told that...
"You really are something..." He leaned towards me and was getting really close. But he jumped up real quick, startled by Chris.
"Here, Gordo." Chris said as he handed him popcorn. The rest of the night I wondered why Gordie got so close as if he was going to, going to, OH MY GOSH, AS IF HE WAS GOING TO KISS ME?! GORDIE LACHANCE WOULD HAVE KISSED ME?! Gordo, could he have feelings for me...?
